[OOC/Signup] As Gods Sleep. . .

Some credit goes to the RP forum, particularly Acquiescence, for helping me with this idea.

Cyrus succeeded. He was not stopped at Spear Pillar, and captured Dialga and Palkia. He would recreate the world as he chose, with himself as its almighty head, using the power of the Pokemon lords of space and time - or so he thought. No one had anticipated what would occur when they were captured.

Without the stabilizing influence of the Spatial and Temporal Pokemon, the universe itself started to break down. Machinery changed from useful tools to deadly hazards as space shifted, causing them to malfunction. People would walk for five minutes and find that their entire family was dead and gone for decades. Meteors annihilated towns as the distance between them and Earth flickered between light-years and inches. Entire cities winked out of existance, their founders removed from time. The destruction was almost absolute.

Eventually, though, the universe shook itself to something approaching a standstill. While neither time nor space were entirely trustworthy, the planet still survived.

Barely.

Massive scars in the surface run for hundreds of miles, running deep enough to expose the planet's molten core. Gigantic rips in space and time transport those unfortunate enough to cross through them into unknown locations. Shadow permanently veils swathes of the planet as light bends away. Ruined cities from a dozen dimensions dot the hellish landscape, overgrown with jungle, buried beneath dunes of sand or snow, or simply sitting, gutted buildings a mute testament for what it was like before. Or afterward. No one knows any more.

Humanity has slowly recovered. Fortunately, time and space are stable enough that technology is useable and cities do not warp themselves into volcanoes, or the depths of space. Usually. However, society is very different from the time when Dialga and Palkia were free.

People have shifted the blame from Cyrus and his arrogance to the masters of space and time that seem to have vanished, and, by extension, all Pokemon. They are not friends; they are not even animals or pets. They are tools at best, according to most people. They are used as power sources or vehicles, and only if there is no viable alternative. There are no Trainers - or, at least, none that anyone will acknowledge. Wild Pokemon live in fear of vengeful humans, and some have come to hate them, laying curses upon them if they are able or worse.

This is the world we live in. A world where the gods sleep, seemingly uncaring, while it falls to pieces.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, with the prologue out of the way, welcome to my RP. I'll be your host for the foreseeable future (fortunately, in real life, time runs in a fairly straight line). Let's get the ground rules out of the way.

  • No bunnying. Your actions are your own only. The only people that can fully control the actions of others are Trainers with NPC pokemon.
    • However, Pokemon are encouraged to obey their trainers, and your trainer can force you to use a move once in a while as is reasonable.
  • Obey the host and the moderators. No, this doesn't mean obey the commands of their characters; if they tell you to knock something off, knock it off.
  • No powerplaying. Don't act like this is a wifi battle; just because someone likes Delcatty a lot, does not give you the right to kick the crap out of them because you have/are Blaziken.
  • Legendaries may, at some point, be controllable, but are prohibited from usage by most players, both as characters and as caught Pokemon.
  • Don't be disruptive. You can have loud, obnoxious characters that cut people off in the middle of conversations, but don't break the flow of the RP.
  • Pokemon choice will be restricted to an extent. Preferably, you'll take the Type Quiz in-character and make them a Pokemon of that type (assuming said character is a Pokemon.) You can also have the group make a list of Pokemon they think fit you, and you can choose. You can also let people just plain choose for you.
  • You don't have to strictly follow canon, but any deviation should have a solid explanation. Better, more interesting explanations lead to more leeway.
  • Your backstory should make sense in-universe. It would make sense for you to be cursed by a Ninetales and wake up as a Pokemon; it would not make sense for you to be Cynthia's son, raised by Pokemon, then returned to society as a master Pokemon Trainer that everyone adores for no readily apparent reason.
  • Don't get too graphic. You can go as far as saying someone was disembowled, but we don't need to know where their intestines landed, for example.
  • Profanity is okay, but keep it to a minimum. Use Precision F-Strikes, not Cluster F-Bombs.
  • Excessive out-of-character posting is frowned upon in the RP thread.

With that out of the way, if you're interested in joining, you should know a few things. One, this will be a pretty freeform RP. There will be goals in mind, but there will be gentle nudges toward them. Two, I'm pretty lax. Creativity takes priority over canon, and honestly, I'll let someone get away with almost anything if it makes for a good story. Space and time themselves are broken down; weird things happen.

If you'd like to join, you've got a few options. First, decide if you're human or Pokemon. We need more Pokemon than humans, this being a roleplay specifically created to place Pokemon center stage. After that, decide on your species (if you're a Pokemon). There are three ways to go about this.

  • Take the Type Quiz in-character, and pick a Pokemon with your typing, unless it doesn't exist (e.g, Ice-Fighting).
  • Have the group prepare a list of Pokemon they think would suit your character.
  • Simply have myself or the group decide for you.

After that, tell us about "yourself." Have a template.

Character profiles:

Theodore

Name: Theodore
Species: Pancham
Age: Probably 35, though he doesn't remember.
Appearance: Like a Regular Pancham except he has a scar above his Right eye and wears a small Brass Pocketwatch around his neck.
Personality Overview: Loner, tries to distance himself from others, but is conflicted, and tries to desperately protect those he considers friends. Very volatile as well. Easily gets upset and angry, and can have a hard time calming down. (Especially involving Death of a friend, a loved one, or someone he wasn't able to protect.) Also enjoys collecting trinkets of the past.

Background: Theodore was just your average Gentleman before the Calamity. He wasn't particularly rich, he just enjoyed dressing and seeming to be from a different Era, one of simpler times. He had a small family with his wife and 2 kids. He was a small time trainer, he particularly only had a pokemon for company since many a time he felt like being away from people. A small Pancham, a good friend of his had given him.

However, that day happened. He had not known what was going on but.....Cryus had succeeded in his dastardly plot. Theodore and his family sat around the dinner table eating what would be their last meal together. Giant debris fell into his home. Parts of buildings, vehicles among other random objects. He barked at his family to get down, he would protect them, his Pancham beside him trying to break what he could with the limited movepool he had. However soon a fissure opened up in the floor, and they all fell, Theodore falling into a black sleep as he hit the bottom.

He awoke. Though he felt smaller than usual....it was a strange feeling. He managed to climb to his feet, and tried to survey the area he was in. It seemed to be his study on the ground floor, though now it was underground He wandered about looking for his family his throat to tired to shout for them. He stumbled and fumbled through the dark until his eyes adjusted, and then started to search more thoroughly.

However he wouldn't like what he found. Once he reached the Dining room all his questions were answered. He saw their crumpled bodies strewn across the floor. There was no viscera strewn about, but it was still a gruesome sight to behold for the man. He broke into tears, as he ran from body to body crying over them remembering them and who they were. Until he came across one body. He realized this body was his own, he stopped crying in an instant, as the emotion was replaced with pure confusion......He took a small Brass pocketwatch from the bodies waistcoat, and opened it. Surely enough his name was inscribed inside.

He was puzzled how was he seeing his own death. Until that point he didn't think to look at himself even though he felt very short and dwarfed there he was accustomed to. He looked as his hands.....and realized they weren't hands, but paws. The paws of his beloved Pancham. He begin to feel his body to see if it was true. He winced as he touched his right eye, pain shooting through his head, as he felt the bruised area. Luckily for him the cut had closed right above his eye, but he was confused how did he end up in this body?

It was all too much for Theo, he ran through the darkness tears streaming down his face. He got outside somehow, and ran for a long time. By the time he was done running, he forgot what he was crying about, and not only that where he was and why he was there were also a mystery. All he remembered was he was named Theodore, and that he was a Pancham. He had forgotten the grim things that happened in his small middle class home. All he had to help him remember was a small Brass Pocketwatch. Unfortunately though, even looking at it didn't help him remember since he didn't know what it was anymore. He felt like it was important seeing as it had his name in it, so he put it around his neck and began to wander, hoping to find out why he was here.

Blaze

Name: Blaze
Species: Cyndaquil
Gender: Male
Appearance: A normal Cyndaquil except for an unusual red marking on his forehead. He wears an Everstone laced armband around his front left leg as a memento of his trainer.

Background:
A happy, and playful Pokemon, Blaze loved his trainer. They had met on the day his trainer's journey began, and Blaze had been his first Pokemon. They hadn't battled many other Pokemon, but his trainer did put him through some mild training to keep him in shape. They lived together for a few years, growing more and more comfortable with each other, slowly becoming an inseparable team. His trainer had given him the armband he wears to celebrate Blaze's "Birthday," the day they had begun their journey. It was laced with Everstone, to help Blaze learn moves more quickly during training. Blaze hadn't minded. Evolving had always seemed strange and fearful to him, and he was happy the way he was. Those days were the best days of his life. But they were about to come to an end.

One day, his trainer had left to buy supplies. He was only going a short ways, so he left Blaze home, outside of his Pokeball. Blaze could still remember the smile and wave his trainer gave him as he walked out the door.

He never came back.

Unbeknownst to Blaze, the was the day of the Shift. Blaze waited for weeks, wondering where his trainer could be. Eventually, he was forced to leave in order to find food and stay alive. The world he walked out to was not the same as the one he remembered. The sky was dark, and the was a great rift splitting the earth as far as he could see, lava spewing over the sides. He ran to the forests in fear, but things weren't the same as he remembered. The routes he had walked with his trainer twisted and turned in unfamiliar ways, and soon he became lost. Over time, that forest became his home. He lived in hiding, fearful of both trainers and larger Pokemon that roamed the forest. He spends his days wondering whether his trainer left him or simply disappeared. Somewhere deep down, he hopes to be reunited with him some day.

Amarantha

Name: Amarantha
Gender: Female
Species: Togepi (Level 14, Hustle)
Age: Around 17, though it's difficult to be certain.
Appearance: As a normal Togepi, with slightly lighter coloration on top.
Personality: Quiet and a bit withdrawn until she gets comfortable with people. Has a tendency to conceal her deepest thoughts, only revealing them to one or two people. Quite set in her ways; rarely changes her mind unless facts prompt her to do so. However, she can be very energetic if she comes out of her isolation, forgetting her avoidant ways and engaging in lively (or heated) discussions. Despite her evasiveness toward social interaction, she often feels lonely, possibly due to her nature as a Togepi.

Background: Amarantha was actually born and raised for a short time by a Dragon Tamer and a Pokemon Breeder before Cyrus's "success," but the time distortion placed her much further forward in time than her family, so she grew up as an orphan. Her adoptive parents were a fairly normal family of the time; they had shifted the blame onto Cyrus, and had a strong dislike for Pokemon, which they considered untrustworthy at best. She came closer to their views over time, but never completely forgot the vague memories of her parents. She was left unattended one day when she was about 10, and ran afoul of a Ninetales that had been tortured by vengeful humans. She woke up the next morning in the body of a Togepi, and was forced to leave her home lest she be captured and disposed of, as Togepi have no true use as work animals.

She made her way to the forests near the remains of the Peridot Ward, where the comparative lack of Pokemon and predictable human movements made it fairly easy to live in peace, though she has basically lost any hope of really living instead of just surviving.

Gale

Name: Gale Colriedia
Species: Human
Age: 19
Appearance: Fond of the color blue, he tends to wear a sea-blue overcoat (larger sweatshirt) over his dark grey shirt, along with jeans and simple, dark running shoes. His hair is blonde, about medium length, reaching his ears, covering his forehead, and almost covering his neck. Typically, in fair weather conditions, he will wear one sleeve up and the other down. He wears a single, thin blue and orange-colored band on his left arm, the arm with the sleeve up. (If I could draw, I would, but I cannot to save my life)
Personality overview: He is a focused person, but is quite active. He holds his pride quite high, so any challenges that come to him are always accepted, even in the face of complete humiliation. Always looking to be the very best like no one ever was, beat the odds and leave a legacy, Gale wants nothing more than a story to tell and a giant honorary statue to prove it. He is quite cocky, but knows when to shut up and tends to have a cocky, angled smile when he's feeling good. (Like Athena Cykes with her fist in hand)

2afbbz7.jpg

Backstory: Living with his cousins for the past 10 years, Gale had come to a personal consensus that he dislikes them. However, he was quite dependent on them since The Cataclysm. They lived in a shelter along with almost 500 other people who had only recently been able to build shelters in the rubble and manage to make gardens. His responsibility was to search for Tauros, Bouffalant, or Skiddo to use to food and milk. While only mildly successful in catching three in recent history, two Skiddo and a Tauros, he once was attacked by a Bouffalant and had to kill it to save himself. For this reason, he has attempted and succeeded in leaving the shelter.
That was two days ago. Gale had found a PokeMart, completely overturned with the front door upside down, between a forest and a rubble-filled town. There, he gathered the remaining 6 poke balls and 2 great balls. He has been able to survive on food that was in the mart, but enough only lasts for one week's time.

Yuki

Name: Yuki
Species: Froslass
Age: From what she can remember, 17
Appearance: Like normal Froslass besides its red band being pink/redish
Backstory: Living under a strict household, a day before the Cyrus event, Yuki ran away from home one night as her parents were out for a hour. She learned in her life living in that house the ways certain paths can be opened, and used those methods to get out. She had nowhere to go after that so she went up to a mountain that people have said no human has ever came back from because she didn't believe in those stories and she had doubt that her parents would go that far to find her. She intended to climb high so no one could find her and being under prepared for this run away she had only enough food for about 3 days. Stopping for a break she encountered a Snorunt with a scar near its right eye and while she wasn't looking the Snorunt ran off with a good days worth of food. She yelled at it for about a few minutes before stopping and eating the rest of the food she was eating for today.

At night she had to find a cave because snow was falling rapidly. She chose a cave where she felt it was warm in, and she noticed that the farther she went down the cave the warmer it got, so she kept on going deeper in the cave until she find a Ninetails sleeping in the cave. Yuki thought of sleeping next to the Ninetails for warmth and as she approached it the Ninetails awoke and used a Hypnosis on her. When she awoke the Ninetails was no longer with her alongside the rest of her food. She then noticed that she felt shorter and looked down to her hands seeing they're little short gray hands, then she saw a similar figure, the Snorunt with the scar near its right eye, and actually understanding the Snorunt it told her, "For helping me with food yesterday I'll give you this." The Snorunt then presented her with a Dawn Stone and when she touched it she changed from a Snorunt to a Froslass. The Snorunt then said, "Please forgive me for taking the food at the time," bowed, and walked deeper into the cave.

She went back outside and saw her city in ruins and then saw a car with two people near it. She went near it and saw it was her parents. But what were they doing here, she wondered and are they even alive? No matter the case she let her rage out on them by freezing both of them with a Blizzard. Afterwards she when back to her town to check for supplies of any kind because her hungry was beginning to arise.

Jessica

Name: Jessica Falke

Species: Human

Age: 16

Appearance:
Jessica is an average girl with long, light brown hair. She has a pale white skin. She wears a black skirt and top. Around her neck, she has a small amulet with a star sign, which was owned by her mother. She keeps it as a memory to her. The amulet sometimes glows for an unknown reason.
(Jessica looks like the girl character in Reborn, but with a different hair color.)

Backstory:
Born as children of a scientist, Edward Falke, Jessica and her brother Samuel grew up in their father's laboratory, not often leaving it. With their father continuously experimenting, and their mother having left when they were still toddlers, Samuel and Jessica lived an isolated childhood. Samuel and Jessica did not really like each other , and they both lived their own lives inside the same building, not bothering each other much.

At the start of the great Calamity, something terrible happened. Earthquakes destroyed the part of the town the Falke laboratory was located in, and the lab itself was completely ravaged. Samuel was with the other scientists when the earthquakes started. He hid under a corner in the dome wall, but he, as well as the other scientists, were crushed when the dome ceiling collapsed.

Jessica was in her own room, and she hid under a table in the corner when the ground started shaking heavily. She hurt her knee and leg when rubble fell from above. After digging herself out, she walked across what was once her father's lab dome, and began searching for survivors. Her search was fruitless, as all that she saw was rubble.

Personality Overview:
Jessica is, in contrary to her father and brother, not as clever and intelligent. She is very direct and acts quickly. She is also very stubborn, which often makes her very harsh, even to her friends and herself. Due to her isolated childhood, she does not trust most people (and Pokémon) the moment she meets them. Still, she tries to find out what is behind the things that have been happening, what is behind her special amulet, and why her mother left her.

Nivia

Name: Nivia

Species: Dewgong

Age: Acts like she is 21 (level 31)

Appearance: A normal Dewgong but has startling blue eyes.

Personality: Very vain and proud of her appearance. Nivia will do whatever it takes to keep her white coat clean from any dirt and blemishes. Should her coat be spoiled, she will stop whatever she was doing and clean herself up, no matter what. If you try to stop her, she will blast you with an Ice Beam. This vain Dewgong believes that she is a princess and, thus, she expects to be treated like one. If someone manages to gain her respect and attention, however, then Nivia will give you her best in return.

Backstory: Nivia was caught by an up-and-coming Pokemon Coordinator when she was just a baby Seel on the outskirts of Lilycove City. She was not too keen on the idea at first, believing it to be a waste of time and energy, but the cameras, lights, and the attention that was given to her when she and her partner won the Normal Rank Beauty Contest totally changed her mind. It also helps that her trainer pampers her after she wins a contest. Nivia loved the attention and preferential treatment that she was given throughout the years and, eventually, evolved into a spoiled Dewgong.

Unfortunately for Nivia, her life turned upside down with the advent of Cyrus' quest for control. With the distortion of space and time, the Dewgong was torn apart from her coordinator and was thrust into a world where she became hated and hunted. There were no cameras nor grooming services nor high-class food offered to the sea lion Pokemon. Instead, she found herself flopping to the nearest water source to escape from pelt hunters. What happened to her fame and glory? Where was her respectable coordinator who treated her like a princess? Although she was flattered that they had admired her beautiful coat, this was not the kind of attention she wanted! Nivia did try searching for Contest partner alongside the river, only to come across even more vengeful humans that tried to kill her. Some of the more innocent-looking ones even threw rocks at her to keep her away! Disgusted by her circumstances, Nivia had given up on her search and made herself home in the river she had escaped to in the woods of Reborn.

Lily

Name: Lily

Species: Gardevoir, F

Age: 36

Appearance: Exactly like an ordinary Gardevoir, but her skirt has 2 openings: one in front, as per usual, and one in the back of an equal length.

Personality Overview: Blunt, honest, easily offended, volatile.

Backstory:

All her life, Lily wanted only one thing: She wanted to fight. She wanted to feel the sensation of her fists and feet impacting against an opponent. As a young Ralts, even at the stage where she was but a baby, driven only by pure emotions from around her, she would seek out emotions of exhilaration and excitement, rather than the emotions of joy or kindness which other Ralts naturally gravitated toward. As a Kirlia, after finishing her daily Psychic practice, she would go and peek at the male Kirlias who were training in physical skills.

Unfortunately, due to the unusual -and, frankly speaking, unfair- nature of evolution in her species, her greatest desire was one destined to go unfulfilled. Only males could evolve into Gallades. All female Kirlias would eventually evolve into Gardevoirs. While her male classmates each went up to the enshrined Dawn Stone and touched it, evolving into Gallades, she could only watch on in envy. She even tried sneaking up to the Stone and touching it as well; naturally, nothing happened.

Finally, the day came when she evolved into a Gardevoir. She hated her adult body. The long, slender fingers were useless for tossing punches, and her thin, sticklike feet were unsuitable for delivering kicks. The first time she tried, she tripped over her ridiculous, impractical skirt. She got so frustrated that she telepathically (and painfully)tore her own skirt in half along the back, allowing greater movement. Over time, she got used to her new body and her new abilities, learning to use her psychic abilities as well as others of her species, while still harbouring a deep regret and a slight resentment for not being able to pursue her dream.

One day, on her 36th Birthday, the Cataclysm occurred. One minute she was celebrating with a group of friends from her village. The next, she found herself in the middle of a vast maze of tall, grey buildings. Her friends and her village were nowhere to be found. While suffering from disorientation, a series of bright lights suddenly shone down on her: a group of humans with these devices that created light were coming towards her. Intuitively, she felt the mood of the humans change from puzzlement, to fear, to hate, and finally to rage. It was the last emotion which alerted her to the danger. She immediately projected a Reflect between herself and the humans, then turned her telekinesis on herself, propelling her away and upwards. She alighted atop one of the strange, gray buildings(which, for some unfathomable reason, had a flat roof) and decided to get her bearings.

Reaching out telepathically, she located several other Pokemon nearby, all experiencing emotions of fear. Choosing not to make contact with them, she stopped her probe and took stock of her situation. Her friends were gone. Her family was gone. Her village was gone. She was alone, in a strange place, with humans that, for some reason, hated her. That was a pretty bad situation to be in. Thunder clouds began to gather above, signalling a coming downpour. Lily, preferring not to stand out in the rain, ran over to the opposite side of the rooftop, where a pile of metal slabs were strewn about, and used Psychic to move them into a makeshift hovel, cursing the fact that she could not do so with her own hands.

Finally, she entered her new shelter and rested.

Over the next few days, the shelter became her home as she gathered her strength, collecting rations and familiarising herself with the land. All the while, though, she bore in the back of her mind a constant, quiet resolution to set out on a search for the rest of her family. After all, who knows? Maybe a tough, solo journey would be enough to assure herself that even though she had the body of a Gardevoir, she was a fighter at heart.

Just maybe.

Zephyr

Here's hoping that Zephyr ain't really too Sue-y.

Name: Zephyr

Age: 17

Appearance: zephyr_by_monokuromosonata-d74xk56.jpg

Here's the one with color(below)

Personality overview: Sarcastic, snarky, with a tendency to be cynical and nihilistic. Perhaps except towards her Pokemon, who remain with her after the apocalypse. Oh, and she can lapse into total mental and/or emotional instability at times.

Backstory:

The day that Arceus gave up on the world and all that existed on it was also a day when Zephyr, trying to not deal with her personal problems, consented to going out with a group she'd called "her big brother, handful of good friends, and the rest are morons who I don't really give a damn about". The group outing took place at an amusement park/mall which sat on a beach area by the Johto seas. It all went well until somebody threw a surprise confession for the girl of his affections why presenting to her a ridiculously gigantic Teddiursa doll on the boardwalk, causing Zephyr to turn away and stalk off, as she'd hated romance and romantic gestures done in public due to an experience of her own.

As with all great post-apocalyptic journeys, hers began when she entered a maintenance room that linked a ride to a mall and refused to open the door to her big brother, who'd come to check on his little sister and to make sure that she didn't sic her Houndoom and Umbreon on whatever she felt like destroying.

He knocked and inquired once, and only once. This puzzled her, because he was usually more persistent than that.

She opened the door to find that the world had all but gone to hell.

Something had caused the greater part of the boardwalk, which sat perched on a cliff by the lower beach area, to collapse and give way. People and Pokemon alike scrambled in terror, trying to get away from the snapping, breaking wooden floorboards, only to be squashed by falling structures and debris, or to fall into fissures wrought by a sudden earthquake.Stalls and other bigger objects disappeared-- some reappeared to fall into the now turbulent sea; others disappeared for good. After a few seconds of shock, and after seeing the huge Teddiursa doll spontaneously go up in flames, Zephyr realized two things.

Her brother was missing.

The maintenance room was falling apart as well-- literally.

Unwillingly, yet frantically, she dashed past rows of machinery that suddenly burst into flames and/or exploded towards the door at the other end of the room, which seemed to stretch away from her into a long, narrowing hallway. After running for what felt like an hour, she burst through the door, just as the maintenance room fell into the sea.

Then, through the door, she sat frozen to the spot as a huge black hole opened up in the sea-- rather, what she could see of the ocean had become a massive whirlpool below her.

What she stared at now was its center. A bottomless pit that swallowed everything like a drain, roaring yet yawning beneath her, almost mockingly as she backed up slowly from the door. When she'd gone far enough, the door swung shut by itself, and she was enveloped in near darkness.

The emergency floodlights illuminated what looked like appliance, electronics, hardware, and specialty stores. Zephyr was inside the mall, which appeared to be untouched by the carnage outside and void of other people or Pokemon. None of what had just happened had processed through her mind yet. At the moment, she couldn't think at all-- she acted only on impulse, and what her subconscious deemed right. She sent out her Umbreon, which radiated a soft blue pulsating glow in the darkness, and her Houndoom, which immediately took to sniffing the air and growling. She went into a gun store and purchased two M1911 pistols along with extra ammunition, and two holsters for her thighs. Not bothering to leave any money, she continued on into the nearest hardware store, still dazed, as if she were unaware or unable to control her own actions, and walked out with a chainsaw slung on her body with a strap.

It was only after raiding the supermarket and then exiting the mall did everything begin to crash down on her brain. Upon stepping out of the glass doors, she and her Pokemon were treated to a most shocking sight-- they were atop a hill, watching the amusement park and the mall that they had just exited sink into the gigantic vortex of water, which appeared to have tripled in size, swallowing the entire establishment without any problem.

Zephyr dropped everything- including herself- and began screaming. Both Umbreon and Houndoom were left to process exactly what the kcuf they had just witnessed.

A week of utter chaos and insanity later, Zephyr stumbled upon what appeared to be an abandoned facility buried in stone- remnants of mountains, possibly- amidst a jagged wasteland of fissures, cracks, spiky protrusions jutting out of the dry earth, what looked like to be a cleanly sliced half of a building, some cars that appear to have been warped by heat, and other strange pieces of junk. Somehow, she managed to reach the structure without getting herself killed and found that the facility wasn't exactly abandoned. She was greeted by a masked man who simply introduced himself as "the Boss". Impressed by the fact that she had survived the harsh landscape, he welcomed her, bidding her stay at the "Base", that is, the facility, for as long as she needed to-- so long as she turned her Pokemon in for containment, along with the others.

There was a rule that no human or Pokemon could come into contact with each other in the Base, unless deemed required in what the Boss called missions.

Any group of offenders would be severely punished-- the Pokemon converted into dinner, and the human, forced to partake in an extremely life-threatening mission.

The other survivors, Zephyr had found on her first day at the Base, had little to no qualms about killing each other to get their way. Sanity and trust were more or less out of the question; never before had she been more thankful for ammunition.

It was an uncertain game of kill or be killed: killed by the other survivors, killed by hostile Pokemon, or even by the Boss himself.

Frankly, even Zephyr never could figure out why she still feebly clung onto such a terrible life, after seeing many people she knew die.

Perhaps it was because of the possibly foolish hope that somewhere, somehow, as improbable as the events that had taken place...

Her big brother and her friends existed and continued to survive.

Species: Pancham

Age: Probably 35, though he doesn't remember.

Appearance: Like a Regular Pancham except he has a scar above his Right eye and wears a small Brass Pocketwatch around his neck.

Personality Overview: He tries to distance himself from others, those that get close to him however he tends to easily lower his guard around them. He tends to be a fast friend to those he feels deserve it. Also enjoys collecting trinkets of the past.

I got fire/flying on the quiz... Do I have to use a dual-type or can I pick one of them? Otherwise, it looks like either Charizard or Talonflame. Also, could someone make a list for me? I want to see what comes up as other options.

Preferably, you would use one that matched, but if you want, use one of the primary type (in your case, Fire).

Lemme think of a list for you. . .

Aggron

Alakazam

Rotom

(someone add more)

Also, I'd like a list.

I kinda like the clusters of 3 to be honest, gives good choice but not too many choices. But yea anyone should be allowed to make another list for those people (just specify who your list is for. Also you should put anybody who has a completed bio at the top. only me so far, but that way we know.)
