2tousent Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 This game isn't that easy, so i've been thinking if it's really worthy having an HM slave... My current team is Gyarados, Gardevoir, Venusaur, Scrafty, Magmar and the said slave, Bidoof So, i can completely own most of the leaders and meteor admins as my gyarados has moxie and dragon dance, and my venusaur has sleep powder and leech seed, but when it comes to double battles it is pretty hard. I swept Noel, i swept Radomus and leech seed stalled many others, but Serra took me something like 10 tries to beat My natures suck and i'm allways underleved but i consider myself pretty good at pokemon. So the question is: Should i swap bidoof for a powerfull party member that could check and counter electric types and distribute the HMs between the others, or keep it like this? ShatteredSkys Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 pretty much what cobra posted, you generally don't need hms to move around unless its the Beryl ward or the pass the old yuyera train pass just get another member and get an hm user when u need one. Alphagar Posted January 17, 2014 Share Posted January 17, 2014 I always forget I need to grab the HM Pokemon and end up just teaching the same move to someone in my party because I am to lazy to go all the way back to town to switch.
