Spoiler

Rillaboom: 100/125/90/60/70/85

Cinderace: 80/116/75/65/75/119

Intelleon: 70/85/65/125/65/120

Thoughts

Well looks like not only cinderace wasnt as fast as first thought,it doesnt even hit as hard.Greninja keeps his title as the fastest starter and the 2nd most op starter. Its got a powerful physical move with no recoil at the expense of accuracy. Can learn a variety of moves like the other starters. Its safe to say that its going to be a pure fire type now.Intelleon turned out be better than the leaks also is faster than poor cinderace(So much for the fastest starter hype).Quite a decent special attack on intelleon too.Could have switched attack with spl def though.Intelleon got a decent signature move but needed a 90 base power atleast IMO.Coming to Rillaboom.Damn.85 speed quite decent. plus a monstrous attack.A decent signature move due to its added effect its a good physical tank with intimidate and good speed makes its signature move quite viable.

Talking about the abilities, given the previous stat leaks turned out to be wrong the abilties leak could be fake too.But incase they are right,Intimidate on rillaboom is good, color change is problem for intelleon against bulky foes and swift feet could only be good if it gives stab to kick moves or something else other than kick version of iron fist.

Talking about pokemon typing, intelleon looks like it may have a secondary ghost typing but almost every leak has said that all starters are pure types. So its difficult to see them make above Under used tier with that pure typing of theirs unless Cinderace gets stab on kick moves.

Talking about reborn and rejuvenation.Amaria and valarie are definitely going to get Intelleon or atleast a water elite 8 may get one if its a double battle with that signature move of its making a certain pokemon useless as long as its on field.

Given Rejuvenation consists pokemon crests and with megas on the way end game viability of these guys cant be predicted.Given they are pure types with likely average abilities they will probably struggle early game too.Rejuvenation crests can make them better.Cant say about reborn.

I just realised that Intelleon's signature move maybe able to bypass all forms of protects.Ok so this change a lot of things.Especially in reborn and rejuvenation, especially in double battles.

Spoiler

Protect doesn't "draw in" moves though. It's probably meaning abilities like Storm Drain and moves like Follow Me. Still, it could have its uses, especially in games like Reborn and Rejuv (though, i think Ame said she didn't plan on introducing gen 8 to Reborn)

Spoiler

Okay from what I can see Inteleon and Rillaboom are decent regarding their stats and signature moves, especially Inteleons signature move sounds interesting in double battles against a team with Storm Drain ability users, Cinderace on the other hand doesn´t manage to convince me at all. All in all the real usefullness in online battles and games like Reborn/Rejuvenation&Co will only show when we will know about the accuracy of the abilities rumour. If Inteleon really gets the Color Change ability it becomes really critical, Rillaboom plus Intimidate on the other hand sounds like a good combo and maybe I am going to get used to its drums 🤷‍♂️ But for the start I think, that i will be staying with the Sobble line. Anyway I`m happy as long Galarian Meowth/Purrserker joins my squad 😉

Ok I think I misread it.Thought it was effects of moves and abilities that draw in moves (seperate).

Yeah Intelleon does look it can hit hard. Its the second fastest starter. Its a shame that its ability may end up hindering it.Also lacks a good priority move so Idk.Purrserker needed a dual stab. Not sure why all the meowths are pure types.I am intersted to know about Pincurchin which looks lyk a electric version of pyukumuku.Has got only one weakness.

Guys... I have great news !

Spoiler

So, this video describes some (maybe all but it's not sure) new abilities and moves. The video itself is in french BUT the descriptions of the moves and abilities are on-screen and in english so you shouldn't have a problem with that.

Quick thoughts about 2 or 3 points : Punk Rock definitely seems like a signature ability for Rillaboom, which furthermore invalidates the previous "leak" about the starters (you know, Rillaboom intimidate, Cinderace swift feet and Inteleon color change). Also, i find this really interesting and hope it will retroactively be added to the Exploud line.

Dragon Darts can only seem to fit into one pokemon to me : our favorite plane-face Dragapult ! Damn, imagine this thing with a choice band !

Obstruct was already "introduced" when we learned Obstagoon was a thing but we didn't know what it was. Oh boy is it good ! Do you see it ? Do you see Obstagoon obstruct + belly drum + extreme speed + sucker punch ?

Spoiler

Hate to burst your bubble here, but Punk Rock's said to be on Toxtricity within the same leak.

15ecrKS.png

It is technically possible that the Ability might be shared, but seeing as GameFreak has been really obsessed with giving practically every new pokemon something unique to them at the start of the Gen. since Alola, I kinda doubt it.

That being said, the stat compilation does contradict the Color Change leak in another way: the stats themselves. I'll go ahead and and share both as I compare them.

Color Change Leak-

--Rillaboom: 70/110/85/100/85/50

--Cinderace: 70/124/79/74/56/130

--Intelleon: 85/75/65/120/85/100

Stat Compilation Leak-

--Rillaboom: 100/125/90/60/70/85

--Cinderace: 80/116/75/65/75/119

--Intelleon: 70/85/65/125/65/120

As you can see, there are quite a few differences between the two. And seeing as the second one is being worked on real time off of the in-game Battle Tower (where everything is Nuetral-Natured, has 31 in all EVs, and have maxed out their EVs), not to mention the fact that none of the leakers seem to have managed to get their hands on any pokemon with HAs yet (meaning that corviknight is the only one that we know the HA for so far), I think it's pretty safe to claim that intelleon will not be saddled with Color Change as its HA.

Punk Rock for Toxtricity ? Huh, i can live with that. As i already said, i love its design and i find this ability quite cool so i'll gladly take it, thank you ! (still hope it will be given to Exploud, it would make so much sense... well, maybe not for the name, but the effect is just perfect for it)

The name might not be too fitting for exploud, sure, but it would be a somewhat better fit for noivern, don'cha think? It'd do the screaming bat more good than Telepathy currently does (given that it's already immune to Earthquake and all), at least. It's even in SwSh, so there's a (slim) chance that we have an Ability change at hand!

Honestly, it seems pretty fitting to both, i just tend to forget that Noivern exists because i don't have that much attachment to it. But you're right, it would do it good too !

One Interesting pokemon and Dragon psuedo's signature move.

Spoiler

https://i.redd.it/uxukhtpsy1x31.pngPost image1

So Basically Eiscue takes no damage from physical move as long as it hails in single battles.Damn.Intersting pokemon though must say.Dragon Darts is the best dragon move in single battles but doubles could be complicated.Could be handy to finish weakened pokes.

Kind of bizarre that, even with all the leaks, we still don't know basically anything about Dynamax/Gigantamax. All we really know is that it increases HP, it lasts three turns, the Pokemon's moves change to Max Moves and it can only happen in specific places (like the Stadiums).

Can the 'maxed Pokemon hold items? Does it affect stats other than HP? Are there any Gigantamax Pokemon with different abilites or typings? Do Max Moves work like Z-Moves (as in, do they have a different base power depending on the move they were previously)? Can you switch out a 'maxed Pokemon during battle? What are the other Max Moves? Are there other Gigantamax forms other than the ones already leaked?

So, in order :

- Probably

- Probably not

- Doesn't seem like it

- The demo confirmed that yes, they do work like z-moves (although, every move has the same side-effect based on his typing but they are way less strong than z-moves. For example, the dynamax version of Double-edge is "only" 150 bp (but it slows the opponent and doesn't have recoil) )

- Probably not, it's already limited to 3 turns, i don't see it being possible to switch during that time

- I don't know if it comes from leaks or the demo, but nearly all side effects of dynamax moves have been dropped. It should be easy to find. If not, i have this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1f6nll_1FTDVYR2wVxUHuyqWxTOQtU6kO7_ibcY2Lf_0/htmlview#

- That would be strange. The dex already completely leaked, if there was more gigantamax forms, we would know of it.

Spoiler

Looking at those pictures above, I've noticed that there are two triangles right next to the Pokemon's Pokeball.  One being up, and one being down.  Does that imply we might actually get to change our Pokeballs for our Pokemon, or is it just there as in, to switch what Pokemon you are currently viewing?  Diamond and Pearl remakes are most likely what's next after Sword and Shield, and in the original games, there was quite a bit you could do with Pokeball customization!

It is offical now, that we won´t get a larger Pokedex through updates. R.I.P. Bulbsaur, Sqirtle and Co., maybe we will see you in future main games 😭

A couple more things have come to light via the datamine...

Spoiler
  • An additional 35 Pokemon have been coded into the games, probably to be distributed as events later. These are: Bulbasaur line, Squirtle line, Mewtwo, Celebi, Jirachi, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, the Alolan starters, the Cosmog line, Necrozma, Marshadow, Zeraora, and Meltan line. So there is hope for fans of the other two Kanto starters, thankfully.
  • More than 100 moves have been culled from the game, including competitive staples like Pursuit, Return, Frustration, and Hidden Power. Full list can be found here.
  • The GTS also seems to have been removed from the game, leaving only local, Link, and Surprise trade as options. I'd not be surprised if it returned gated behind Home, personally.

At this point it kind of feels like every new thing I learn about these games is another slap in the face... at least the first point has a positive side, sort of.

Okay no, is Gamefreak for real?

Spoiler

First they cut half of the pokedex and now they even cut moves? Okay these moves belong mainly to the Pokemon who were cut and the Z-Moves are understandable, but seriously? And even though we can hope for some pokemon (okay I'm happy that the Bulba squad survived 😍) through events, there are still too many victims. I wish to know such things beforehand from Gamefreak themselves!

Like you said almost every second new info is a slap in the face...
