Level grinding or rare candies

So im at the circus and i havent completed a playthrough since episode 16 and is there better grinsing now then the clown, becuase i need to raise 2 mons 10 levels each and it is still painfully slow to the point that i don't want to play. Or is there someone who sells rare candies anywhere that im missing?

You could grind at Route 2. I don't think there's anyone at the Circus that sells Rare Candy.

While you're trapped past the circus there is no where better to grind than the clown honestly.

 

However, when you get past the point of being trapped beyond the circus you'll be able to eventually pick up a luck incense which doubles your prize money and combined with the higher exp rates you'll also be able to buy a rare candy once every two battles.

 

But until you get to that point there isn't anything really better.

I prefer to grind against the Crustles.

No need to move, and you can grind for way longer before having to return to heal up, which means less frustration and more exp for the weaker pokemons per time interval.
