TyranitarTube's Pokemon Reborn Playthrough

TTar; "We're in the end game now!"

Me: "No, you're not!"

This man is in for a surprise if he really thinks 8 badges is even CLOSE to the end. He should know that at least Amaria, Charlotte, Luna, Hardy, Adrienn and Saphira are gym leaders of Reborn that he hasn't faced off against yet. So what makes him think he's "in the end game" now? And he has not met Titania, Ciel, Samson and T3RR4WWWW yet, who would be the remaning leaders for a complete set of 18.

Also, didn't he say he wants some recommendations for games available on Steam? I got 2 that would fit his channel, since both are monster capturing games like Pokémon.

First one would be Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition, which is one of the best Digimon games right now. Although the dialogues in this game are quite long, the game itself is fun and you can capture 340 Digimon.

Second game would be Temtem. This one was supposed to be released as an early access in September, but got moved to January 21. While this game will be early access even at this new date of release, the game will still be playable and it is very similar to Pokémon. But it does it's own thing in terms of many mechanics.

Well with the exception of Gen two, 8 badges is the mainstream but I concur.

As he's met at least 6 characters he still hasn't battled but have bluntly identified themselves or been bluntly identified by another as gym leaders (Amaria, Luna, Charlotte, Hardy, Adrienn and Saphira, not to mention he's got his Fury Badge to supplement and I believe Victoria had mentioned Samson by name when she said she'd notify Ame to get him set up after Kiki's death), to call 8 badges an "end game" it's rather obvious that he's still under halfway albeit just barely.

Unless he was talking about the arc beyond the Agate checkpoint. He did briefly talk about it here with a 'new saga' type of reference and he seems to understand that it will lock him out of his current area range.

Yes, but the lockout won't happen until after he beat Luna, which of course he doesn't know yet. But the game is nice enough to tell you that you can't go back if you are trying to pass Agate checkpoint, so i'm sure even he can't miss the fact that this is the point of no return once he makes it that far. Although he still has to make his way through the Subseven Sanctum, and that one not only is a Labyrinth where you must avoid to be seen by El's cultists, but also you must solve puzzles regarding the "Arcues bible".

So he's got his work cut out for him. Unless the next episode is a long one he might need 2 episodes for the Subseven Sanctum alone XD

And after that he still needs to make his way through Iolia Valley and beat Luna before he reaches the point of no return.

i like how 90% of pokemon players react with "these are ass"  when they find the utility move tutors xD

That's because 90% of Pokémon players are just overusing only the strongest Pokémon with only the strongest offensive moves they can learn. And make the mistake to think they are strong/skilled trainers because of that. Have you ever watched the Youtube Channel "The Garbodors"? This guy uses Pokémon that are considered "weak" and wipes the floor with those kind of people who think using only the strongest Pokémon makes you a strong trainer.

I mean, these moves are kinda ass factually in a single player setting. Seriously, when are you gonna use spite, like, ever?

Of course, but he's already been considering it which is smart.

Yeah, but while he knows from his viewers that this point of no return exists, he doesn't know where exactly it is, only that it is close to where he is in terms of story progression. And going by his recent speed of story progression and the fact that he might want to do some more of the stuff that he might want to get done before the point of no return, i would say that it'll be at least 3, maybe even 4 episodes before he makes it to the Agate Checkpoint.

And we don't know if there will be new episodes during the christmas days. So maybe we gotta wait to see how this will play out.

...I mean I literally said "shortly after badge 9", but there was probably a gap between reading it and recording so he probably forgot the specifics

He at least knows how to recognize it if he read my comment on the previous episode (episode 16).

I explained vaguely as not to spoil that it's marked by Cain questioning the player about moving on because "we might not be able to go back for a while" and warned him that some of the quests and encounters he still hasn't done (i.e The Mystery Egg) will be gone forever after the point of no return.
Buuuuut the likelihood that he read it is admittedly pretty slim.

As he finished the Sanctum in one episode, if he continues at that pace, he'll probably be there in the next two or three.

Uh Dreamblitz you made a point to tell him the Pokemon to buy for the Mega-Z Ring but didn't tell him to get all of them anyway (cuz he's mentioned wanting a Lucky Egg)?  The Lucky Egg is the one he's actually in danger of missing out on since as far as I'm aware, those Pokemon are still there after you return to the city.  I'd get back to him on that cuz he's gonna pass the point of no return in two episodes at this rate.

EDIT: Lol I typed that while watching the video, looks like he figured it out on his own.  Maybe.  Although he needs to either A) be told about the itemfinder and how many shards you can get from it or B) be told to just soft reset mining rocks to get what he wants.  I don't know exactly how many of each shard he has, or if he's gonna make it at this rate.

Also you should tell him about the online Voltorb Flip calculator so he can grind casino coins quicker, or he's gonna miss Silvally too.

Also he's mentioned wanting to buy X items, well he CAN get those now  but not without being directed the stickers he's missing.

I've definitely made the lucky egg thing clear already. Not sure he'd want to do much with itemfinder / softreset since they'd be things that would take a bunch of time but not be video material, and I think he's quite busy.

As for the casino coins, I just made him a quick mod that does 10x slot payouts so that can be farmed pretty quickly. Using voltorb flip calculator is pretty slow/boring tbh when you're trying to get things done for content.

As for the stickers, he's got all the information on where they are available but tbh I don't think I want him to buy X items lol

So, he has arrived at Luna's gym and he trashed (and trash talked) Bennet (good boi, Bennet is a loser). So next up it's Christopher Robin vs Alice XD (If you get the reference)

The funny thing is that Kiki would be a hard counter for almost all of her Pokémon, if only it had learned Play Rough, which he refused to teach XD

Bennett is more than a loser, he's a selfish naive brat and has now gone full on creep.
As for the metaphor, I'm not sure I get the Christopher Robin reference.

He could go all the way back to Reborn City, get the house key and use the move re-learner in the Onix ward to teach Kiki Play Rough but I doubt he'd want to.

Christopher Robin is the human child in Winnie the Pooh. What do Christopher Robin and Alice have in common? They live in a fantasy world of their own making^^ And if Luna is Alice, what does that makes TTar (who also lives in own fantasy world)?

Ah. I see.
I am aware of who Christopher Robin is, I just wasn't picking up on the metaphor.
Nice.

Luna is one of the easiest gym leaders in the game, she and Florinia are the only ones I've beaten in one go so I swear if he blacks out to her...😓

He realized that putting up the sun was a good idea, his team just isn't good enough to truly take advantage of it. I think we all cried with him when he used that Blue Moon Ice Cream....I was screaming at him not to. Perish Song was going to do the job.

Considering that he's installed the mods for type display and buffs/debuffs...and got the Medicham up really quickly in levels (probably using the mod for easy XP), he should really just level train EVERYTHING he has before going to the Circus.
