Reborn Big Brother - Season 3 Finale

The Reborn Big Brother House is opening its doors once more to welcome another set of upbeat, competitive, and unique House Guests for its 3rd Season.

This set of House Guests shall live in isolation in the Big Brother House for a couple weeks and compete in a number of daily challenges, which will test their determination, patience, and ability. Aside from this, their social communication skills will also be a determinant in how long they are allowed to stay in the house.

Within the House, you must communicate and get along well with your peers or else, be at risk of being nominated for the Daily Eviction. Aside from this, the Director can pull you out from the show at any time if you commit any violations.

Who will survive the challenges given by Big Brother? Who will win the Grand Prize at the end of the show? Will you be the Season 3 Champion of Reborn Big Brother?

🏘 An Overview of Mafia 🏘

Mafia is a social deduction game which requires analyzing, cooperation, and looking through lies. There are two main factions in a mafia game: the Uninformed Majority [Town], who have to find others of their kind while hunting for the mafia, and the Informed Minority [Mafia], who have a private chat and plan there on how they should trick the town and whom they should kill. There may also be Third Party or Independent roles, which have different agendas and win conditions.

At the beginning of the game, players receive a PM or a DM (in some cases) with their role and alignment.

There are two major phases in a Mafia game:

(1) The Day Phase  Typically lasting 48 hours, players use this opportunity to discuss about several things, which may include the outcome of the previous phases, behavior of players, and flow of the game; the ultimate goal in the day phase is for the Town players to find the Mafia slowly while Mafia players have to blend in carefully. Before the day ends, players must vote for a player whom they want to be eliminated on grounds of suspicion and the player receiving the most votes will be eliminated.

(2) The Night Phase  Typically lasting 24 hours, the thread is considered locked at this point and players may not comment at all. Instead, players with night actions, special abilities related to their role, may use these to aid their faction. The Mafia also discusses in the private chat on whom to dispose of.

The game continues until one of the major factions attains their win condition or unless it is no longer possible.

🏘 Factions 🏘

The House Guests - The House Guests are the eager and determined competitors of the 3rd Season of Reborn Big Brother. Each House Guest possesses a rich background and a range of skills to assist them in becoming the champion. They are the UNINFORMED MAJORITY. They win when all members of the Production Group and hostile Third Party individuals are eliminated.

The Production Group - The Production Group is involved in the publicity and presentation of Reborn Big Brother to its target audience. They will do anythig to accomplish their goal of achieving the highest ratings possible, as well as, earn the prize money that was budgeted for the show. They are the INFORMED MINORITY. They win when they achieve parity or when the House Guests reach an equal or lesser number compared to theirs, and all hostile Third Party individuals are eliminated.

Third Parties - They are independent individuals whose goal is different from both the House Guests and the Production Group. Some of them simply want to have fun while others want to bring chaos to the House. They have individual win conditions.

🏘 Important Notes 🏘

(1) The game is an OPEN SET-UP. Roles and abilities are revealed prior to the game's start in the opening post and are taken from the submissions in the Choose Your Roles! event.

(2) All players will have a CHARACTER NAME. This name will be the name of one of the members of the Reborn Mafia Club and will designate what roles and abilities they are capable of having.

(3) Roles may or may not be CUSTOMISED. Each character may possess a PRIMARY ROLE centered on their true alignment. They may also possess a SECONDARY ROLE and/or a TERTIARY ROLE which may be taken from any alignment to support them. In some cases, the TERTIARY ROLE may be an alternate or bonus win condition taken from the Third Party roles.

Ex. Alex (House Guest)

PRIMARY ROLE: Tracker

SECONDARY ROLE: Hooker

TERTIARY ROLE: Survivor

Alex wins with the House Guests, but he may also win by surviving until the end of the game.

(4) The game is a FULL REVEAL game. Upon death, the alignment and full role of dead players will be revealed.

🏘 Game Mechanics 🏘

* The game starts on Night 0. Day Phases will last 48 hours and Night Phases will last 24 hours.

* Majority is in effect starting Day 2. Day 2 onwards will be ended prematurely the moment a majority is reached.

* Votes are FINAL when LYLO is reached.

* No Lynching / Abstaining is not allowed.

* Mafia factional kills are not required. They are assigned to one of the members, meaning they can be tracked, watched, or roleblocked. The same goes with roles who announce who visits them publicly.

* Tied votes will result in a player being lynched at random from among the tied players.

* To show that you've read this, comment your answer to this question: "What is your favorite role in the role list?"
