Not too slow to be total pushovers, but they telegraphed their attacks enough that if you knew what you were doing you were pretty safe. He'd talk more shit in his head, except he dropped into a crouch to avoid losing it. Focusing on the enemies with the focused stare of a Bowmaster As the golden fan's feathers harden into blades, he begins to use the side of those blades to pull back the bow string. GodofGamingRWBY Posted June 26, 2019 Author Share Posted June 26, 2019 Tomb Thankfully, the burst of flame was enough to vaporize the blood coming towards Brigitte, combined with her shield taking the rest of the splash, creating a visible area untouched by blood. Thankfully, nothing negative seemed to pop out of the now destroyed 'wall', except for the Tomb still rumbling from the shot. There was nothing to stop the group anymore, except a rather short corridor. Going through, it was rather obvious what path the group would've taken. Specifically, the left path, as the right had clearly collapsed a long time ago, the rubble piled straight to the ceiling. That, and on the left side, there was dozens of corpses lying about, some cleaved in half, others burned beyond recognition. Even the walls weren't safe, containing scorch marks across the surfaces, barely illuminated by the torches still placed along said walls. At the end, before the path turned, there was also another corpse, except it hung several feet off the ground, impaled into the wall by a silver sword. In addition to all this, the sounds of fighting could be heard echoing from the room ahead. A quick advancement and look would allow the group to find the other Devil Hunter that Markus had been taking about earlier. A brown haired girl in a far fancier monochrome outfit than what one would deem necessary for hunting demons, currently weaving out of the path of a large stone gargoyle's spear. At least, that's what the demon looked like, with its stone-like skin, long barbed tail, curled wings, and glowing red eyes. On top of that, several corpses, aside from the ones that looked as though they were hit by a train, were converging on the Devil Hunter as well, all while she merely brushed off her coat. She hadn't taken notice of the non-demon group yet, which could be seen as better, in some ways. Spoiler Sam (Rank: None) Adeline (Rank: None) Brigitte (Rank: None) Clownback (Rank: None) Sceleratis (Rank: D) 5/5 Bloodcursed Spear Gargoyle Marked Door Again, DVS found the demon fairly easy to dodge and counter, knocking the zombie off of its feet and onto its back. While it let out a groan and didn't seem all that dazed, it was obvious that its general physique wasn't going to help it get itself off the ground anytime soon. Unfortunately, as he was doing that, another lifted up its spear, preparing to stab DVS in the side as he went on the offensive... Only to be interrupted by Izumi as the crazy teacher stabbed it in the side, causing it to stumble and almost drop its spear. But, with a sidelong glare, the Bloodcursed merely grabbed Izumi's sword, letting out a small growl as it attempted to stab Izumi back. The other demons approaching, before they could attempt to strike at DVS or Izumi, instead were blown back when an arrow struck one of them in the face, before blowing up with an impressive explosion, scattering the four Bloodcursed. However, while some landed on their backs, two in particular landed on their bellies, and were already forcing themselves up, switching their attention to the archer that just shot them. As for Kali, one demon in particular seemed to be done with walking, as it lifted an axe above its head, before charging the rockstar with a burst of speed. Turning his body in a "shall we dance" esque pose, and motioning with his fan for them to come and get him, showing a cocky smile. Once they start running for him, he jumps up, plants a foot firmly in the face of the first one to reach him and kicks off. At which point he flicks his bowstring with his fan twice, sending two non-explody arrows at the pair. Fully intent on running their skulls through. kj1225 Posted July 2, 2019 Share Posted July 2, 2019 DVS quickly rolled to his feet, giving the two other hunters a thumbs up before standing and going back over to the blood cursed he was fighting. With a malicious grin he stomps down on it's face, taking a moment to grind his foot on his nose for good measure and finally stomping down on it's head for real, intending to finish it.
