SHIELD AND SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOORD Ok since it's something 3 fourths of you haven't heard about yet, Shield and Sword is an OM created by some loser who likes ponies, that only exists in the Reborn Showdown server (because the nerds at Smogon haven't yet experienced its greatness). So here's what happens: every pokemon's base offensive stats are swapped for their base defensive stats. So, Attack is now Defense, and Sp. Atk is Sp. Def. Take Skarmory as an example: its base Defense is 140 regularly, but in SnS, its base Attack and base Defense are swapped, giving our metal pigeon a base 140 Attack stat! Again, the same thing happens for special stats. HP and Speed remain untouched. Only the base stats are changed: so abilities like Huge Power still act on the new base stat of the mon in question. This may be a bit harsh at first, but it can be lots of fun! And it changes how lots of things work right away. Now, into our lovely general bans: Cloyster Stakataka Hoopa-Unbound Aggron Carracosta Slowbronite (Mega Slowbro) Water Bubble (water absorb Araquanid folks) Huge Power Omniboosting (not a tier ban, just your general Nations ban) Well these are just tier bans/suspects, but they apply to all nations. There are some specific bans to be revealed for matchups though. But now, here's some real juicy [REDACTED BECAUSE SWEARING IS BAD AND I NEED TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE] - UNBANS: Aegislash (yes both of its forms ger reversed stats) Blaziken (with Blazikenite!) Darkrai Naganadel Pheromosa Aright we're through everything, questions in greeeeeeeeen, now let's go, matchups! Note the tiers and matchup specific bans are to be announced, since we're still waiting on a certain surprise (this is out so we can get rosters oof): MATCHUPS: I. ECLIPSE V/S LIGHT GAZERS OU - Tapu Lele and Landorus-Therian are banned II. SUN VALKYRIES V/S ZION OU - Zygarde is banned III. ZODIAC V/S POLARIS Spoiler Spoiler Ayyyyy you know how there's SnS Ubers on the server? That's right bitch. Being Ubers, yanno the banlist above? GONE. mostly. And without further ado: UBERS - Cloyster, Kyogre, Water Bubble and Huge Power are banned man i'm sick of flavor text.
