  1. Yeah... I can't fathom how anyone thought that scene was fine as is. Even if we assume that all trainers have been defeated (Aelita had just woken up), Delpha is literally standing right there. Also, why did Clear and Kieran leave the base to confront the group earlier? Isn't their goal right down there, and by leaving they're informing their enemies of the Ligosomnia machine's location? It's a very strange scene considering the game justifies your allies' lack of help in other scenes (Venam being out of Pokemon on Valor Mountain, and Regirock blocking Melia and Cella from reaching Vivian). There are other instances of it as well, but the player usually ends up winning anyway, so it doesn't really matter as much (even though it's still annoying)
  2. I can definitely see it. I'm definitely expecting Team Xen to split apart during this chapter. Given what we currently know, I don't see Nastasia, Neved, and Madelis being fully on board with the Xenpurgis. This will likely lead into the final confrontation with Madame X/Team Xen at Blacksteeple, or that other castle close to it. While I can see some Xen Admins surviving, Madelis is not among them. There's also more going on with Nastasia, given that it seems apparent that she was the one tipped off by the storm chasers about the S.S Oceana.
  3. As in, what do you think will/hope happen or be added/changed? Both in terms of story and gameplay-wise? I know it's a little too soon to speculate on this, considering the devs are probably still on break, but I thought it'd be interesting what everyone else thinks. I was inspired to make this post by this reddit comment that went into great depths to speculate about the V14 story content, and I can see some of it happening: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonRejuvenation/comments/18k4l32/comment/kdrsfio/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3. In terms of gameplay, I assume we'll be getting at least a couple of new Aevian forms, especially considering how scant they are in the early game. Considering Iron Moth is already in the game, we can probably expect at least some Gen 9 mons to make it into V14 (I recall Jan stating that Gen 9 was planned for V15 at some point, maybe that was changed). We're absolutely getting more Crests as well. I'm also expecting the last few non-legendary, non-Gen 9 mons to be made accessible. I hope we get an overhaul to how impactful side quest karma is in determing Bad Ending points, as engaging too much in that can screw you over in that regard. In terms of story, I assume the Xen HQ will fail and the Xenpurgis will be released. Given how character-focused the Karma files were, I expect at least one character to die during this chapter (in Paragon anyway, a lot more in Renegade). I expect we'll get at least some answers on the nature of Team Xen during the raid (not sure it'll be all that satisfying at this point though), but everything regarding Vitus/Madame X/everything else will be left for V15 or later. Naturally, it's safe to assume that any earlier content will not be changed in any major way until completion, if ever; if we do, it'll be relegated to minor dialogue changes/corrections. I would hope some major changes would be instituted in this area, to make the many plot threads more cohesive and better paced—but again, unlikely for now. What are y'all's thought's on the matter?
  4. Completing quests will indeed net you karma, but karma alone is only one of three factors which contributes to the variable necessary to reach the Renegade Route (along with Relationship Points and Key Choices). In theory, you could max out your karma and still get Renegade Route, provided you get sufficient Bad Ending points from the other two. However, you might cut it close if you do too many quests or are not as efficient in the other two categories. Regardless, I don't think you'll run into much trouble if you're only completing the ones that grant you pokemon.
  5. It is unclear if Nim is required to recreate Storm-9, as she didn't exist when the first one was created, so I'm not sure about that. I'm assuming she will have some more involvement in the story, so this remains to be seen. This is true, although given that Melia was able to restore the core in the Ruined Timeline by herself, it is also unclear if Team Xen requires the full Archetype. I do think you are correct in your assessment that they were unaware of the existence of Alice, Allen, and Erin. I don't think there's any point to this, since I suppose the sacrificial spell would have to be done once more for it to mess with their plans. Furthermore, since Clear is behind most of the events of Where Love Lies, it seems to me that Aelita might be important for something they're planning. That is correct. I do recall that Melanie tells Melia that whoever told her about overlapping (Madame X) likely didn't know that it would cause her to be absorbed into her subconsciousness. So it does remain to be seen where they are getting their information from, because even though they seem to know about Karma, the Archetype, the Old Earth, etc. There are some minute details that they seem to be lacking. There will likely be some reveal regarding this in the future. I am interested in seeing how the devs will try to explain all this, since Madame X can time travel using the time diamond, it appears inconceivable that she'd be missing all these facts. Although considering she was aware about Maria's existence in whatever reality the prologue takes place, they might have assumed that Melia was this version's Maria, and therefore was an only child. Another thing neither of us mentioned would be their relationship to the old Team Xen, the one lead by Lord Xenadin in the Miera region. I myself am completely clueless regarding how they fit into this, that said, I would not be surprised if Lord Xenadin was Vitus, especially considering that Team Xen follows the whole Yveltal aesthetic (that could very well be something from the new Team Xen though).
  6. Personally, I wouldn't go as far as saying that Team Xen is made up of people from different iterations of the world. As Gediel points out, it seems very far-fetched to believe that the admins are from a different iteration, considering that side content matches too well with their stories for them to be from a different world (such as Neved with Maman and Jenner with a ton of other characters). I do think Madame X is from a different iteration, as Clear and Kieran state that their creator originates from another world (and since they work for Madame X, I think it's safe to assume she played a role in creating them). There is also the abandoned house from the intro, which clearly shows an alternate version of Maria (since Anathea's cause of death is completely different from that established in Chapter 9), where Madame X shows herself, indicating she has access to alternate versions of the world. I think the more likely situation is that Madame X is utilizing the same tactic that Tiempa and Spacea utilized, wherein they save people fated to die in exchange for aiding them towards a certain goal. This is supported by Matthew's journal, which indicates that Jenner, a Maddy (Madelis), and a Cass (Cassandra) were caught in the Gearen Fire, and thought them dead, only to see them completely unscathed later. Coincidentally, we know that all of them worked for Team Xen (along with the fact that the soul stone did not pick up Jenner's soul up at Valor, and I think the game makes reference to this at some point). It is completely possible that the Team Xen erasure we have been seeing is the same as the bright light that the Storm Chasers saw before dying. This is all corroborated by the fact that something weird is up with the Xen grunts, as Sharon at some points says something along the lines of "wishing she was left as she was before". The game also establishes that Madame X can travel through time with the time diamond, so it would make sense for her to pull stuff like this. This could also imply that a similar fate might have befallen the rest of the admins at some point (perhaps Geara was fated to die in the Wispy Tower fire, for instance). On Team Xen's purpose as a whole, that's still hard to pinpoint. We know the following: 1.) Team Xen seeks the Archetype 2.) Madame X despises Vitus (as shown by her actions in the ruined timeline and the intro) 3.) If what Rune and the Space Hags mention is correct, they seek to recreate Storm-9 4.) The admins all seek goals that seem farfetched given the circumstances 5.) Team Xen possesses extremely intricate knowledge regarding the nature of the world Due to these factors, I think that Team Xen's and particularly Madame X's goal, would be something akin to achieving a perfect ending for the world. They would do this by using Storm-9 to force the world into it's wilting state, forcing Karma to abandon it (and possibly allowing Team Xen/Madame X to escape to the next one), and then use the Archetype to achieve the desired fates that both Madame X and the admins seek, in a fresh version of the world. Thus preventing Vitus from leading the world to a devastated state, like he seems to do across a plethora of realities (Ruined Timeline, Chapter 3's Timeline, etc.). It is possible that Team Xen views the current iteration of the world that the game takes place in as being imperfect, and that's why they seek to destroy it, in order to bring upon a new, better one afterwards using the Archetype's power. This would reconcile their goal of recreating Storm-9 (maybe with the energy garnered from people dying, as Neved seems to indicate exists in Chapter 5, through the Xenpurgis) with Madame X's apparent dislike for the Ruined Timeline and Vitus. Of course, this still leaves plenty of questions unanswered, such as: the nature of the green gems that grunts carry, Clear and Kieran's implied status as Interceptors (by the chess board in the Dream World), and the possible existence of a third Interceptor in Team Xen's side (could possibly be indicative of Renegade MC imo).
  7. While it is possible for "the one who shattered the world" to refer to Variya, the statement made by Karma in the ruined world portion of the Renegade Route leads me to think otherwise. In it, Karma blames the situation that has befallen upon the world on "the one who shattered this world, the one who shatters all worlds". This cannot be Variya unless it's some AI version of her that went rogue or something silly like that, since this would go against her stated goals. There's also the unlikely possibility that Melia and Karma are referring to two different people, but considering they are both referred to with feminine pronouns, I am going to assume this is not the case. In my opinion, it probably refers to Madame X, seeing that as far as we know, Team Xen's goal seems to be to destroy/reset the current iteration of the world in some capacity. We also know from Chapter 12 that she has been spying on the characters during their time in the past, so it would not be surprising if she was doing so here as well.
  8. I'm pretty sure this one is simply a leftover from the previous version, and is thereby not an actual location. If you're looking for a Kangaskhan, they can be found in the grass in Magrodar Crater. I hope this gets fixed in a future version.
  9. Yes, I'm referring to the point slightly prior to the divergence into either route. Sort of like how the "Terajuma" password works currently.
  10. I agree with some of the previous complaints in regard to the new content. The Paragon Route felt quite weak due to its disjointed attempts at giving all the characters their spotlight. I think most of the chapter should've focused on building up to the confrontation with Space and Tiempa instead. I feel like it was a huge missed opportunity for it to not focus on the MC and Crescent, as she's still a character shrouded in mystery. On the other hand, the Renegade Route was awesome. It definitely benefited from focusing on the MC and M2, while having the other characters revolve around them. The series of events felt more natural that way rather than the contrived plot point of having to hang out with the other characters to learn about Adrest's files. M2 is also an extremely fun character, and is probably among my favorites as of now. Ultimately, the Paragon Route ends up feeling like a lot of mini-arcs mashed together, which could've been relegated to side quests instead. In regards to the game's decision to engage in meta commentary with the whole Karma stuff, while I'm not entirely opposed to the idea, I'm afraid the game will use it as an excuse to waive away inconsistent/unexplainable events, motivations, and/or other occurrences. It currently seems like it does this with M2's and Melia's unexplainable switch, and as well with the MC and Melia escaping Spacea's attack (Although I may be missing something here). Furthermore, the game should definitely add some sort of password that lets the player skip to the story split. It is unacceptable that the game does not have such a feature when it is clear that both routes are required to have a full understanding of what is going on. Aside from such grievances, I greatly enjoyed the update and most of changes made to prior content were for the better.
  11. I'd like to start by commending the devs for the time and effort put into the project, it takes a lot of commitment to develop a game of this quality. Overall, playing through the game was an enjoyable experience, and my opinion of the game is overwhelmingly positive, with only a couple grievances (mostly minor) with it. As the title suggests, this post will contain spoilers for the whole game. STORY GAMEPLAY GRAPHICS MISCELLANEOUS
  12. Happy Birthday 😄, i hope that you will have a fun day 😉🍰

  13. What if the reason there are two garufan civilizations is that the technologically advanced one was from before the world reset? Nancy mentions that the Nymiera in the Zeight is older than the one we know. This can't be true unless the Garufans are older than Nymiera. That would make Lunala from "another world". Even then, because of the world reset stuff, there is no guarantee that any of the games you mentioned are ocurring in the same version of the world.
  14. My bad, the fact that the patches were listed separately led me to believe their contents were not added to the base game. I assume that both downloads are identical and the listed patches were not removed from the site. I believe you should be good without patching the game at all (main menu should say Version 13.0.5 in the lower left corner).
