  1. Meanwhile I know who's HP bar from KH that example image is (Mysterious Figure flashbacks) Those songs are tops, hope I can hear 'em someday in game (If I can ever get farther then Angi lol)
  2. Tbh, joining the sprite team sounds fun, but I'm too dang shy to do it, and I have very little experience with fully-from-scratch sprites. Only just really got the hang of frankensteining them, but I'll hang about and watch.
  3. If you're still looking for some help with Nuclear sprites, I've got some time on my hands. I can work on a few if you need. If not, oh well, thought I'd offer, and I'll be here if you need some in the future. Either way, can't wait for the links to return. Just got my Ep.19 all set up with SWM, can't wait to bust through the last gyms with Paraboom. Been a LONG time coming.
  4. And we've officially reached the best part! This game has helped me in so many ways, being here for the full release is unreal. I just don't know what else to say, but I'm glad we're here. We made it. I'll raise a glass to your hard work, and several more in the future. Thank you, all of you, for making one of the best Pokemon games I've ever played.
  5. Putting this here so it stays, and so the team sees it, and so I can let it all out. So, I picked up Reborn on a whim after leaving Uranium's community in late-ish 2017, and this community has really, really helped me in many ways. Same with the game itself. I've become so much more outgoing by just talking with folk here, still pretty shy and a lurker but much better then before. And I mean this every part of myself, this game has helped shape a bit of who I am, and I'm proud of that. People have been listening, even a little, and that has meant the world. Nobody's been purposely demeaning towards me, I've helped answer questions here and there when online, and I've been learning so much by picking apart the game as I go. All the work that this team has put into this game shows, and it's awesome. They don't shy away or stuff away the serious topics like suicide, depression, anxiety, sexual orientation here, but rather this game has helped me and others embrace those thoughts and have some truly helpful and healthy discussions on them. For that, I'm super thankful. When something triggers a primal emotional response in me, be it joy or even hatred, to me that's a sign of great art at work. I'm invested, I feel like I'm there with the characters. I haven't had a game pull me in that deeply since Fable II or Night in the Woods. And, the ART. Oh my word. This game is gorgeous! The new assets, the improved faces and character renders, I love 'em. The environments were already wicked, this new episode is the icing on the cake, holy crap. It's super inspiring to me, too, as an aspiring (hobbyist) spriter. And, the fact that the team is willing to let folk like use our own sprites, too, fully accepting of re-sprites... that's gold. I've always liked making shinies and characters appealing to what I personally like, but I hate feeling like I'm just overriding someone else's hard work. This team lets us do that, and I don't feel ashamed to make a character replacer because of it. It's so cool to see artists willing to let spriters like us use our own stuff and edits alongside or instead of theirs, it makes the game have a lot more personal feeling. And, finally, the community that's grown around here. December 30th, 2021, I lost my father to an infection. Just going on the Discord and chatting with whomever's there, no judgement... it's really, really, REALLY helped with the grief. I cannot thank the people I've just chatted with enough, it's been such a big big help during all this madness. And the fact that the devs and team even encourage this type of welcoming atmosphere,.. it's unreal. So I can't thank anyone enough. This has been a wild, wild ride. I'm so thankful and appreciative of everyone involved, even if I've never spoken to them. It's spectacular to see this game and community, and to be a part of it. If I ever met any of you in the street, I'd ask for a hug. This game, this community, and this team have helped me with so much. I've been thinking for a long time on how to put this into words, but I honestly think a hug tells way more. Just, Thank You. From the bottom of my heart.
  6. So with all the talk on main files mid-game being potentially scuffed if used in e19, I'm going to keep my entire e18 installation backed up so I can train up my preferred team there before I put the save in 19. I'm just after the GG on my main, so there's a bit of work left. I'd say, if you're nervous about potential mid-game scuff, install e19 separate from older versions, and back those older versions up. Also, find the location of your saves folder and back up your saves there. Chances are e19 may 'claim' saves, so to keep your saves for e18 until AFTER Hardy's gym. I'm no expert, this is just what I'm personally going to do. As much as I'd love to charge into late-e19 like everybody else, there's still 18 episodes to finish chewing through for some of us who just aren't confident. I'm excited! I just hope the passwords and things like Randomizer are available pre-Champ. And, knowing this game, we most likey ain't gettin' even one Legend pre-champ aside from what we already have, so I'm prepping my team fully in advance.
  7. I say no. Something just feels off to me with adding frostbite over Frozen here. It does not fit the style. Besides, with both Poison and Burn already being a thing, I feel it is unnecessary given the style of these games compared to PLA. Granted, yes, frostbite does act like Burn in halving sp attack (over Burn's attack halving), but I feel like it is not truly needed. Freeze is still the rarest status effect to both give/get, and it is MEANT to be devastating. Having another bloody gradual chipper in a game like Rejuv would just be too much. If it was an addition, not a replace, there would be some use. But if it's REPLACING the rare freeze, why bother? Unless you jack up the rates for the effect to occur, but that feels too cheap, and why add difficulty like that. There's a point it changes from fun challenging, to annoying challenging, and adding frostbite OVER freeze might just swing things that way for me.
  8. General question, where is the Totem in the Under Ruins? I've defeated the others. Been wandering around for a few hours looking. Other then that, I'm enjoying the Gen 8 sweep.
  9. The new Agent is already giving me KH Luxord flashbacks with the way they hold those cards. I am NOT looking forwards to that. Other hand, having a new makeover of some early-game areas is just amazing. You all didn't have to do that, but you did, and that's bloody amazing!
  10. I have been waiting for this moment! I shall unleash my ultimate Paraboom strat upon the hapless masses! (Or at least see If I can stomp the later gyms using my boy.)
  11. Happy Birthday 😄, i hope that you will have a fun day 😉🍰

  12. I send you all the love I can muster in the form of virtual hugs! Testing is such a pain, but it's so crucial and actually kinda fun. Good luck, we can't wait for the rollout! If anyone needs some encouragement or a shoulder to virtually cry on, I'm happy to talk on the Discord!
  13. I'll try to be far more actually social this time, I was basically a lurker for the winter one. Yay, crippling shyness!
  14. I enjoy Reborn for the fact that (aside from the big bads), it stays loyal to each Pokemon's official stats and movesets. Giving early 'Mons different movesets, while that seems nice, kinda defeats that core-series loyalty to me. I'm glad it sounds like that is not going to be the case (adding/altering movesets and stats, I mean), and I REALLY appreciate having that slightly wider Pokemon variety at the start. Also I'm SO glad to see the implementation of the EXP candy, and the poweritem buffs. That makes it to where players unfamiliar with competitive teambuilding actually have a chance to reliably build a team that they are comfortable with quicker, which in turn helps keep favored teams in rotation. That'll def help out newer players, and I think will be pretty welcomed by veterans, too. Man, I can't wait for 19 to drop. It's gonna be a whole new ballgame.
  15. I, for one, am dearly hoping that my personal favorite legend will not have this treatment... but if it does, hoooooo BOI do I have a game plan set up.
