IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! As everyone knows, Nintendo has announced two new Pokémon games: Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, coinciding with our fangame´s name: Pokémon Sword and Crown. As expected, we had to discuss the course of this fangame and we decided that our effort and work will remain intact, but the name will change to another unique and different: Pokémon Kingdom. For the rest, everything remains the same, so it has not meant a drastic change, since we believe that this version will have nothing to do with official games, since we have our own inspired region, a completely new and personal Pokédex, and characters and history that surely have nothing to do with what these two future official games will offer us. This was necessary to announce it so as not to confuse anyone and inform all those who have been interested in this fangame. Hello everyone and welcome to my own Pokémon fangame project´s post. The game is called Pokémon Kingdom! Introduction Pokémon Kingdom is a Pokémon fangame which I´ve been developing from a year ago with a good work team. Just to point out, the name refers to one version of a game, not two. It´s a classical Pokémon game with all that stuff: gyms, evil team, Pokémon League, etc... but with a new fresh experience, adding a lot of additional content and a huge postgame. The name of the game is given by the region´s past, as it was a huge kingdom when the monarchy existed and kings or queens reigned in the territory. The region: Imperia Imperia, a historical and tremendously long-lived region. One of the traditions and contexts most deeply rooted in the culture of the region´s society is the political figure of the monarchy, an institution ruled by kings and queens who from their beginnings have ruled and imposed their authority in the region. It is known by the oldest survivors of the ancient epochs of the "monarchical Imperia" that, during these periods, the humans of lower social level and the Pokémon were treated as equals, seen as mere instruments and means to achieve lucrative objectives. All this was seen from a natural perspective, where the Pokémon have always been considered as objects and treated in very morally questionable ways. That is why those times are known as "The Tyranny of Imperia". A dark period, cruel and sometimes somewhat bloody by contrast and dispute of interests and ideals. History in the region has been progressing over the years, becoming more stable and peaceful, the monarchy being abolished and a new model of a more civic and morally positive society established, where the entity of the Pokémon League becomes the maximum authority, and the Champion of this, the most important and authoritarian figure of the entire region. All this leads us to the present, in a very changed, more modern, more developed, more populated and more prosperous Imperia, but maintaining that customary essence that characterizes it and presenting a plural society where ideologies and beliefs are very different. This influences in the disparity of thoughts that exist between their people, arriving to have debate by any aspect present in the society. In terms of physical geography, they present a variety of remarkable ecosystems: forests, towns, cities, marine and freshwater areas, mountains, caves, mysterious locations, etc. The Great War This was a warlike conflict between two well-differentiated sides many years ago: those who pursued a free Imperia, without ties or royal impositions; and those who wanted an orderly Imperia and which prospered under the already established monarchy. Both sides were represented by the daughters of the last king of Imperia, which, like the rest of the region, ended in very bad conditions. With the conclusion of this war, the monarchy remained as a memory, being abolished and installing a new model of society, where the archaic monarchical methods went down in history. The main characters: Emmett and Emily Their trip is the classic of Pokémon games. They begin their story by receiving their starter at the hands of Professor Hazel, famous for her recognized experience in Pokémon folklore. She studies the past and the ancient myths and legends, giving them a Pokédex to help her with her study. Eight new and difficult gyms await them before they can challenge the Pokémon League. In addition, they will have to deal with a new threat to the region: the evil Team Arrow. A new and huge completely own Pokédex! Imperia´s Pokédex is formed by new Fakemon and a decent number of regional variants of official Pokémon. These are the new starters: Chirplum, Kindleo and Dolphish. New regional forms! Imperia has been a region which during warlike times has requested import of reinforcements of foreign Pokémon to fight. It is well known that the top officials of the region and the most skilled trainers have managed to bring out the maximum potential of some Pokémon from other regions. It is also true that the adverse climatic and social conditions have forced all of them to experience changes in their type and abilities, strengthening themselves in other stats in which they were previously weak. Many of them have seen their way of fighting or helping, altered by the above mentioned, offering great diversity to the already populated Imperia. Recruitment The Pokémon Sword & Crown ´s development team is looking for some new members who want to be part of this project. We have ambicious ideas and a way of working very healthy and friendly. The Pokédex is done and now we are finishing polishing characters design for sprite them. Anyone who is interested in join the team, can contact me via private message or Discord (Xave#4709). What we are looking for is: Mappers (urgently): the base development is almost done. Now we have to put those ideas into the "material" project. That´s why we are looking for some extra mappers asap. Tilers: for some specific elements and tiles that require external help, since the tiles of which I speak aren´t in public resources. Imperia has several buildings, places and details which need a new tile. For that reason, it´s something that we are also looking for. Thanks for reading and I´ll see you in future updates!

Hello everyone! I´m glad to be here on this forum. My name is Xave, I´m a spanish fangame developer that have been on the fangames scene since many years. However, about a year ago I started seriously my own project. I´m also a big fan of this game: Pokémon Reborn. One of the best in the community, without any doubts.
