  1. The field is especially stacked against you here. I don't think you'll have access to Aurorus or Rotom, which would both help. Or anything with a tailwind. A Masmoswine if you have one might be able to clear some of her team with earthquakes, IF you can outspeed her. Tailwind will help, though the only mon that would technically count for that is a castform, which is only an ice type in one weather, so won't count for a mono run. No Ice pokemon that have sticky web either, which is a lifesaver in doubles. Masmoswine with rockslide and earthquake might be your best bet here, apart from water/ice types that might be able to tank a heat wave or two. Cloyster's SpDef is quite low so you'll need to make sure you cover it somehow so it can shell smash and not get wrecked on the first round.
  2. Thanks, I found it again. I edited my post.
  3. Here's what I recall for the Eeveelutions: You need to pet them before the E4, and most have some disappearance condition. Umbreon: Vanhanen Castle Espeon: Glass Workstation Glaceon: Glass Workstation Vaporeon: Fiore Mansion Leafeon: Behind the Mirage tower, need surf to reach it. Sylveon: Victory Road Jolteon: Nightclub Flareon: Route 1
  4. If I recall correctly, you get a choice scarf if you pet all of the eeveelutions. You can get a choice band or choice specs depending on whether you do the magma or aqua gang questline to conclusion. Finally there is the victory road spirits quest. I might not be remembering correctly but I think that's correct.
  5. I found that a Cincinno (with good IVs, naturally) was one of my favorite mons. King's rock, skill link, plus tail slap, bullet seed, and rock blast make for a very versatile attacker (those 3 can be taught with a move relearner). Tickle makes for a surprisingly useful debuff too. I'd recommend adding the Cincinno to the party, mine proved very useful. (Too bad I don't think Reborn has Triple Axel for ice attacks, because that would be awesome)
  6. Well, I do try to have a decent team set up before going to Agate City for the first time, main reason is once you go there, you can't go back, which means a lot of pokemon that you could have caught become unavailable until you get the Fly machine. I get the impression it might be too late for backtracking, hence you won't be able to get a Tyrantrum unless you have an old save, but you might not want to go back that far. I liked having a Cincinno, myself, but I don't think you can backtrack to the location needed to grab one, alas.
  7. I'm used to swapping my team in and out, though depending on where you are in the game, you may not be able to get some of the pokemon I recommend. The last time I did charlotte's gym, I had a Tyrantrum with Earthquake and Rock Slide, an Archeops may fit your team nicely too, with typing and tailwind/stealthrock support. That said if you're already at Agate Circus, then you can't go back to revive a Tyrantrum, since that requires going to Spinel Town. Tyrantrum at least provides some heavy hitting, although you'd need to pull off some breeding shenanigans to get one with Dragon Dance. If fossil pokemon are currently unavailable though, Lycanroc can help. You can near the Fiore mansion use fishing to get a Horsea which you can evolve into Kingdra for additional type coverage, and also you will need a surf-compatible mon soon enough. (Hope you picked up the Good Rod though, you'll need it to get the Kingdra.)
  8. Personally? For Gaia, I'd swap out Energy Ball with Leech Seed. Giga drain's already a good attack move, and leech seed can help vs bulky enemies, and with various special cases. (Like Sturdy 1HP targets). Venusaur is bulky enough to take advantage of stall tactics too. For the Electivire, you already have two electric physical moves. I'd swap out wild charge with either Power Up Punch (Buff), Thunder Wave (Debuff), or Rock Slide (Useful attack for doubles that won't hit your own team). I might also recommend swapping out one of the dragon attack moves on Bahamut for swords dance.
  9. I have noticed when attempting EV training on my mons, that if they are already at the badge XP cap, that they do not gain any EVs after winning a battle either nor do they gain any XP. I assume that not gaining XP is intentional, however I suspect that not getting EVs is not. Training EVs thus requires using a reverse candy so they can gain XP normally again. Tested this on both game.exe and game-z.exe.
