  1. Based solely on who aggravates me the most when they're onscreen, Terra. Maybe it has to do with her memery, or her sprite art (I have Additional Questions about that hammer), or the fact that she was a main fixture in the Agate Circus arc, which tbh is my least favourite. Right now it just seems like she has very little depth as a human being other than hypersexual memes. The other characters I dislike are... bland but inoffensive (ex. Sirius -- you literally just took Giovanni and reskinned him), or unpleasant people who I think were written well (ex. Lin, Amaria -- one is a convincing villain, one's actions made her a villain but we can understand how she got to the point she did). Terra, there's just no justification or reason for her to exist besides a one-time gag. And then her one-time gag became part of an already frustrating arc. Maybe sometime in the future we will get more backstory or personality development on Terra which will change my mind. If that happens I will eat my words. But I kinda doubt it.
  2. For me personally, it helps to sit down and identify what I'm particularly anxious about. Sometimes it's just Generalized Bad Feelings, but most of the time there's a source — a problem that needs to be resolved, or one coming up in the future. Once you've identified what is spiking your anxiety so hard, you can start looking for ways to curb your anxiety by dealing with that thing (even in the tiniest ways). For example: anxious about your grades? Make a point to spend an extra hour working on schoolwork per day, or more if you want/can. That way, when anxiety rears its ugly head, you can say "Look. I studied extra today. I've done my work to prepare for this thing." Even if you don't succeed, you can stare your anxiety in the face and say, "I've done everything I can to solve this problem/avoid this outcome today, so back off." And of course, sometimes it turns out to be a much simpler process than you thought, and you can knock out a lot of what the anxiety is 'feeding' off of. If it is Generalized Bad Feelings, sometimes there's an underlying cause that's not readily apparent (eg. stress from school or work over a prolonged period of time), or sometimes your brain has just decided that it especially hates you. In those times, it helps to find something distracting that you can put your effort into. Preferably something creative or productive; even if it's just leveling up in a video game, at the end of the day you can say, "Oh! I gained this achievement I've been trying for today. I feel really accomplished!" That way, in addition to having the distraction from the anxious thoughts, you also have little things you can pat yourself on the back for.
  3. Greetings fellow Pokénerd! If you like wandering around and finding random stuff, you're probably going to like this game. There's a whole lot of random little sidequests and ventures you can do, and you probably won't find all of them on your first playthrough. Also, keep in mind: this game is no joke. You're probably going to wipe your first time against a Gym Leader. That's okay too. Save beforehand, and use it as intel to develop a strategy. Good luck and have fun!
  4. aaaa I just caught up with all of Reborn a few days ago, after starting the game like six months ago. So judging from some of the lore stuff dropped in the last few episodes, I'm guessing that we're going to end up fighting Real Arceus, Real Giratina, or both by the end of this game. (Which sounds awesome, but I hope we can choose which one, or catch them, because I don't want to beat up myself D:) Still though, I'm looking forward to hearing more about the actual myths of old Reborn! As we get further and further into the game, it's reminding me more and more of DPPt's storyline, which is the exact opposite of a bad thing. Really excited to see what's next! also let us go to agate pls i need to check up on zero
  5. Like others have said, I don't think there's a confirmed answer. But considering the whole thing is supposed to be a fantasy, and there were lots of Faerie-types living around the fields and tower... I'm going to predict that it was a construct Zekrom made out of faerie magic.
  6. TBH I have no problem with the Shiny Clause. If it was any other game then I would say yes, it's too much with Reborn's Shiny rate. But this one? These guys need those extra mons if they want any hope of making progress. You saw what happened if you have to go up against Julia with two Pokémon, it's just not doable without cheese strats like Toxic Spike healspam. Plus, from the way they're talking and playing, I think they're going to call off the Nuzlocke part sooner rather than later; over half the players have already wiped and they're still going. Nappy talked about how all you need is to hit the level cap and you can make your way through every Gym, that's just straight up not true.
  7. I've also heard the BS clause invoked in situations where there's a regular Trainer, who just has six fully-evolved Pokémon, who all know Explosion. AKA situations where the devs are specifically out to ruin your day. But every major battle is out to ruin your day in Reborn, so I mean, there's that. Also: there's nothing stopping them from grinding offscreen and then going back to the spot where they were by the time the next episode begins. They could even all force themselves to spend the same amount of time grinding (2 hrs max) or something, and then go back to their original position. Until now I think they've mostly just been dicking around, which is understandable since they're going in blind and playing with their friends. I think after Miniorgeddon though they're going to start taking it a bit more seriously. (Probably still gonna wipe to Julia though, nothing prepares you for Julia if you're going in blind. I think that was the first time I wiped in my blind run.)
  8. Julia is certainly crazy about blowing shit up, so I can see where they're getting it from? But they also don't know the deep well of crazy people in the Reborn Region like we do, and are only paying half attention to the dialogue at any given time, except maybe for Jay. Plus Julia seems to get more sensible later on, when the writing refines a little bit.
  9. "Dog, I have one Pachirisu. At level 11. With no STAB moves." Oh boy I feel that on a spiritual level. I didn't know about the Joltik my first time through (playing blind), so I was stuck with Pachi... that was rough. EDIT - Just finished the episode. I feel like they're starting to actually understand how much hubris they had when going into this game. :|a I was wondering what they were going to do about the inevitable wipes. Do you think they're going to let you go back and claim event Pokémon every time?
  10. Hi! Are there any plans to actually make that warp-from-start-menu thing, or has it been integrated already? I don't see any mention of it on the first post. This mod would make my EV training life so much easier, but I'm currently at a point where I can't access the Great Hall for plot reasons. EDIT: Never mind whoops. I went reading through the thread, this feature was enabled! Thank you! Your mod is excellent, I'm going to use it from the start for my next playthrough. (To clarify though - you can't use vanilla Reborn files and carry them over to Sandbox Mode, right? I just tried and it doesn't seem to work.)
  11. POGGERS FAM I totally forgot about Calm Mind. I had it on him before, but I had to take it out for Charge Beam when my old Electric-type stopped being effective. But I have Galvantula now so I can reteach it. Hopefully I can figure out how to set it up without Swoobat getting rekt by a Stone Edge or something. Dewgong has Thicc Fat already and higher Sp Def, and still gets punk'd, but I'll look into Mamoswine. The ground typing might help? Thanks! Yeah in hindsight I'm not sure why Sludge Bomb is there either. Probably because I wanted STAB but had no Move Relearner at the time? Most of the time he spams Sucker and Drain Punch anyway. I'll look into the movesets. (Sunny Day I'm not as keen on, because that powers up everyone's Fire-type moves too, and Terra has plenty of those.) Completely forgot about the Speed cuts with Paralysis. Wow I'm a dumbass. Thank you! EDIT: Electric-type moves are useless against Ground-types. So is Swoobat, incidentally, since literally everything can OHKO it and it's kinda slow. I can still make it to Garchomp and no further, but I'm going to train up a Mamoswine and replace Swoobat with it. (Need Dewgong for the Water coverage.) EDIT2: I had to EV train the Mamoswine but it worked! Get rekt rawrchomp.
  12. Guys, send help on Ultra Haxxorz R.obbed G.oddess Terra? (I actually can't stand her at all.) As of right now I can get to her Garchomp but no further; the only solution I can think of is putting Frost Breath on someone who's not Dewgong (because Flamethrower), and praying. I might be underleveled or something. Absol Lv72 -Psycho Cut - Sucker Punch - Future Sight - Perish Song Not a great set but I just caught him for Perish Song utility, and he's one of few things I can find that will hit Nidoking super effectively. Too bad his EVs are trash. Venusaur Lv70 @ Black Sludge - Petal Dance - Poison Powder - Leech Seed - Petal Blizzard Swoobat Lv66 @ Twistedspoon - Attract - Air Slash - Charge Beam - Psychic I need to level him up. Psychic is classified as "OP pls nerf", so he works nicely against the mons with the Synethetic Seed and ??? typing. Dewgong Lv72 - Surf - Waterfall - Ice Beam - Dive Open to movepool suggestions. Toxicroak Lv71 @ Toxic Plate - Sludge Bomb - Nasty Plot - Sucker Punch - Drain Punch Galvantula Lv72 @ Zap Plate - Sticky Web - Bug Buzz - Giga Drain - Discharge Currently the only thing fast enough to outspeed Nidoking. Bug Buzz is super effective, who knew? Also in the box: Simisear Lv71 - Acrobatics - Flamethrower - Fire Blast - Shadow Claw Sandslash Lv72 @ Grip Claw - Earthquake - Swords Dance - Dig - Shadow Claw
  13. I think he will. (EV trained and everything, damn.) Enjoy your, uh, Corsola... Kricketot...
  14. Thank you! I'm at 'Waiting for Request' rn, username is in the first post.
  15. The Galvantula sounds cool! Do you want anything in return or are you just gonna revert it with a save?
