  1. Since you're already using Togedemaru, may I add that Sturdy Toge with Amplifield Rock + ETerrain/Zing Zap was my go-to for the majority of my run, max atk/speed. It could deal good damage with terrain boosted ZZ, and reliably crippled any team that relied too much on their field. In general it looks like your team is only set up so it can run some support and maybe win some 1v1s with type advantage, but if you're running a lot of purely offensive mons, you need at least one pivot too (or fodder, at the very least). Ghost or dark especially if it's Pory giving you trouble, you can literally abuse the AI to get free switch-ins on immunity alone.
  2. The Torkoal-Hot Chair cutscene at the beginning of the game. Honestly though, imagine looking at the entirety of Reborn, the Corey and Taka bits particularly, and thinking that scene of all things would be removed for being "too disturbing" and part of some censorship scheme instead of, y'know, because the devs just didn't want it in the game.
  3. EDIT: This is only with regards to the colored books you're talking about, but their significance is at the end of a pretty long quest chain that starts with finding a Dive item in one of the sunken apartments.
  4. FWIW, there was also a password that would enable you to get Aevian Missy in the Nuzleaf area of Rhodocrine Jungle, but AFAIK that has been long since expunged from the passwords document and I don't remember what it was.
  5. I personally had a staple weather controller and terrain controller on my team since gym 12, if not earlier- namely Snow Warning A!Ninetales and Sturdy Togedemaru, but anything that can take a hit or pop a Terrain before it goes down is worth keeping around. It's not as permanent as burning the whole field, but Togedemaru Electric Terrain with an Amplifield Rock can at least negate the field long enough to cripple the enemy (which can apply to all of the E4 fields, giving it much-needed flexibility), and Ninetales can get rid of the pesky rain so the garden doesn't advance automatically when the terrain drops (and also so your fire type moves don't get an attack cut). Bonus points that, specifically in the Bennet/Laura fight, it's not targeted first turn and is able to put up an Aurora Veil to help too.
  6. Reshiram and Zekrom routes are based completely solely on whether you fight Taka in the WTC or not. Yes for Zekrom, no for Reshiram. There are no other choices required for this route split. "Anna Route" is a Reshiram-based route/extra content that you only get by fulfilling the very specific criteria that other people in the thread have outlined.
  7. I personally......don't like that this was said at all and am highly disappointed with it even if (or perhaps especially because) it came from Ame's mouth herself, because-
  8. You're allowed to make arguments and have opinions at any stage in your playthrough and that's valid, but the fact is that you barely scratched the surface- no, you haven't even done that in terms of who the MC actually is. Your assertion is that the MC acts as both a character and a blank slate at times, and to that I say (vague late game spoilers)- Without spoiling anything out here, where you are is absolutely early to be discussing the MC in full depth, and I would hold off until you're caught up because V13 flips everything on its head. Whether that's in a good way or a bad way, you really should reserve your judgment until you know the true nature of the character you're playing.
  9. Somebody else already addressed everything else in your post, but you couldn't be more off the mark here. Sleep and Freeze were removed because guaranteed missed-turn moves are absolutely broken in PLA's ATB-like format (not to mention they were already pretty disliked/abused in VGC to begin with). If you miss one turn, that's your opponent getting up to two free shots on you depending on their speed and move styles, instead of just the one as per usual in 1-to-1 turn based like traditional pokemon. Sleep is less insidious because it would have a 3-turn (6-move) max, but Freeze doesn't have a guaranteed thaw turn, and on top of that its thaw rate is even lower than Sleep's wake rate (20% for Freeze and 33% for Sleep IIRC). And now my own opinion on the matter: while I agree that this still isn't an issue in a traditional pokemon fangame, I still think that Frostbite should replace Freeze, because that's a shift in usage from "sleep but less reliable and more obtusely broken when it hits" to "burn but it cripples special types", which is a whole niche that hasn't existed yet that, frankly, really should.
  10. A new Team Meteor member? And they're magician-themed???? They/Them enbies stay winning <3
  11. I have nothing witty to say, but TFW you're going through your Death Note phase again and suddenly Cloister Black is showing up everywhere. Thanks, Ame.
  12. Looks at V12 file and sighs. Here we go again. Which I guess isn't a bad thing, it's been a while since I played the whole thing and could probably use a refresher on the early game plot, haha. Thanks for giving us a heads up, at least! > no discernable reason I mean, it's a common quote in English and has an entire ass song, so......
  13. Happy Birthday 😄, i hope that you will have a fun day 😉🍰
