Hey! I just started playing this the other day and it's amazing... But I'm having trouble backtracking from this one spot in Silver Rise. I realized that I hadn't activated the crystal bridge in the cave just past that totem pole at the top of the hill, so I have to back. However, I can't figure out how to get back past the ice patch right before the totem pole. The game won't let me use an Escape Rope because I have someone with me. Please help! EDIT: Just figured it out. There was a ledge. Whoops!

Hmmm... What about Lanturn? That HP is pretty massive and it can switch in on her Thunderbolts for free healing. Lanturn could spam Flash and TWave and use parafusion, and I believe it also gets Eerie Impulse (though I probably won't be able to use that as I'd need a Heart Scale)... Soak+Discharge looks pretty useful here, too. (never mind, that last is way too time-consuming to breed at this point in the game)

Ahhh, okay, thanks. That works then, though I would slightly prefer not to raise a Pangoro... Out of curiosity, do you EV train? I wonder if that could be related... On a slightly different note for a different mon, does encore last for three turns in this? She seems to give several opportunities to use it. I imagine it would cause the AI to switch, though.

Thanks for the tips... Though maybe I'm missing something but the haunted field causes her Ghostly Wail to hit normal types, right? At least, that's how it's been for me when I've tried to swap in a spare Deerling as fodder (it also says it hits them for supereffective in the manual)... Any particular strategy for getting Flash before? I hadn't thought about using Mist, though... Maybe it works better... (Does anyone know all of her pokemons' genders by the way? I can't remember if they were set... And Ghostly Wail is a Special Attack, right?) I started on version 6. I don't get Bulk Up by this gym (unless there's something I don't know about). I got the TM "Stacking Shot" instead.

I mean... I know she's supposed to have been nerfed, but I'm playing update six in normal mode and I can't beat her. The haunted field makes ghost supereffective against normal... And Ghostly Wail, as I just found out, not only has a chance of increasing defense (seriously, that Mismagius is hard enough without the defense boost...I can't get past it at all), but it turns a Holy Field right back into a Haunted one. Just... How (and why). I mean, apparently you can't rely on a Sawsbuck due to the field. Was that something that was changed? I saw some people talking about Sawsbuck when I tried to look up how to beat her... Does anybody have any tips for version 6? I've been stuck for a while now and can't advance. (If possible, I'd like to stick to Trevenant, Vivillon, Meowstic-M, Zebstrika, Houndoom, Prankster Liepard (barely raised, can breed if absolutely necessary but would rather not), Protean Greninja, and maybe Sawsbuck.) So far I've found that the best strategy with my team is: 1. soft reset until her Drifblim doesn't get in Hypnosis or Tailwind and kill it with Smack Downs from Greninja 2. She always brings out Chandelure, so I send out Houndoom... Bite until she switches into Rotom, use Trevenant as a pivot to take Thunderbolt so Greninja is switching into a Ghostly Wail instead 3. outstall Rotom with Lemonades 4. send Houndoom back in to take care of her Chandelure, which she then sends back out But then she sends in Mismagius, and I can't get past it. I thought about luring her into giving Houndoom a Flash Fire boost, but I don't think it would be enough to kill it before Houndoom faints. Trevenant can't take a hit from it (at least not after the damage from being a pivot), so Destiny Bond is out... And then she has two more pokemon as well, and I have no idea what they do.

1. After the explosion, if you walk into one of the cabins in the southeast block and then walk out again you come out on the opposite side. 2. I haven't tested whether this is just a one time thing or just an issue with double battles, but Protean seems to override the script that causes overlevelled pokemon to disobey. My Greninja turned away when I ordered it to attack the Arcanine from that one help request, and then Protean changed his type to water and he used Water Pulse anyway. EDIT: 3. After some point (I believe after the third badge), my character has been rendered on top of anything (not sure I'm using the right term here... Basically if these were photoshop layers, my character would be the one on the top). This has led to my player character "standing" on things such as trees, peoples' heads, the Giratina statue... I'm using the pink-haired girl, if that helps. 4. Forest's Curse doesn't work. Thanks; I might do that. Besides, I haven't evolved a regular Spewpa yet so I don't know how normal Vivillon will look (though I do quite like the shiny's wing pattern). Well I don't think the IVs are that bad seeing as I can't breed yet (are they? I don't know...) and its ability changed to compoundeyes just now when I evolved it. But yeah, that nature and speed IV combo is bothering me seeing as Vivillon has the defenses of a wet paper towel...

I know they aren't available right now, but does anyone know whether there are plans to add nature changers in later versions? I caught a shiny Spewpa with IVs ranging from 18-24 across the board (except for 13 speed). I know I can change its ability from Friend Guard once I get an ability capsule, but it has a quiet nature, which I expect will hurt it a lot. So yeah. Does anyone suppose I'll be able to use nature changers at any point? Also, is it worth raising this Spewpa? (I'm playing on normal mode.) Thanks. (Hopefully I'm not asking too many questions here... So I noticed that Oshawott has a ton of personality, with Snivy probably being a distant runner-up... I was wondering if anyone thinks the other starters will ever get big personalities there as well. It's a little thing, but it would just be so fun to see my favorites (Fennekin and Chikorita) acting adorable like Oshawott does~ On that note, is there any reason to pick Oshawott in there (besides feeling a little guilty if you don't)? I mean, does its big personality ever show up in any other part of the game? Does the event Oshawott act noticeably different from this one after you capture it? Thanks!

So... No chance to get both Eevee and Fennekin? And maybe Chikorita? Snivy? I mean, Oshawott is available later on... (Doesn't that make it a little mean that it's the one to follow you around? Hehe...)

Regarding Noel, I like to think that really isn't that unusual. There are essentially different levels of social functionality. (Cain is confirmed as pansexual... So he's polysexual but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the character likely doesn't ID as bi.)

Hi! So I haven't played Reborn in a while and it will probably be a while yet before I start over due to time constraints, so in short I've been out of the loop for a while and have also forgotten quite a bit. I was wondering if there are any characters who: -explicitly have Aspergers syndrome -are N Harmonia seem to have Aspergers syndrome -are implicitly or explicitly bisexual I'd also like to know if they're major characters, and if they're cool (though I realize that this is entirely subjective). If anyone can tell me without revealing any spoilers, that would be great~ Thanks! (If it's a major plot point... Eh, just don't tell me.)

Wait... Which protagonist is which gender? I had a brainfart and thought you'd only put one gender of protagonist in the game, so I voted for my own Gotta fix that... The middle one looks the best in my opinion, but the one on the bottom has a cute overworld sprite. Do we also get a choice between all of the starters we're voting for? (I really, really dislike the Sinnoh starters, which are heavily in the lead... Torterra is okay, I guess...)
