Haha, thanks XD I wanted to go straight to RPG Maker with Pokemon Essentials, but if I am correct, it costs money, and I have no iteration of money that would allow me to pay for it.

Uh... I'm not sure if there's a place for this or if it's even allowed, but why wouldn't it be? but, if anyone knows, can you help me with a hack? I found a nifty tutorial here about editing the title screen of Pokemon Fire Red and its video iteration here and I thought I followed the instructions to the letter... but apparently not because my first attempt came up with this: I discovered that my image wasn't wide enough, so I made it wider, and reinserted my image into a clean rom and this happened: And it won't even let me edit the palette or save any changes I make to the rom in UnLZ. Can someone help me? I don't understand where I went wrong or how to fix it. I've been trying for hours, but it just isn't happening.

So, it occurs to me that I have yet to make one of these, yet I've been posting around on the forums from time to time, and I believe it's high time that is corrected! My name is Frank, but I prefer to go by Drake Valentine. That's because it is derived from the Latin "Draco" meaning "Dragon," because I feel like it would reflect my love of Dragons. And Valentine is from the fact that Valentine's Day is my favorite day of the whole entire year no matter what. I believe it has something to do with the fact that there's love and loving intention everywhere; an admirer, a loving gesture, all the flowers, it's absolutely beautiful! I'm an Aquarius, and as such, I happen to be a fairly logical person. It's rare that I do much of anything without first thinking about it. Which, perhaps, leads to a dull life, but can also lead to an amazing one when things don't go as planned. Also, logic helps me write. That's right, I'm an aspiring author! Of books, plays, poetry, you name it and I probably want to write it! But, I am, in fact, majoring in English with an Emphasis on Creative Writing, while simultaneously working on getting credentials to teach English. (I'm already on a good path because the chair of my University's English Department already knows who I am based on the things I have done thus far in life.) I'm also a fairly versatile person... At the moment, I'm picking up an old hobby of mine! Editing roms and stuff! Yeah, at the moment I plan on editing Fire Red. And it's currently still in planning and stuff... I got a lot to relearn, I haven't done this kinda stuff in over half a decade. But, as the title suggests, I've enjoyed Reborn for quite a while- since Episode 7 came out- and it's amazing to see all the growth the game has gone through! I can't wait until Episode 10 comes out. And maybe, I'll finally finish training my teams so I can smash Noel or something~ I think I remained anonymous for a bit because I like to observe before I become known. But, at the moment, I feel like it doesn't particularly matter whether or not I hide, I've posted all over the place here! Hopefully that's given you some sort of glance and interest in me and my life? Aha, but, I digress... We'll see where things go? Yeah, sound's like a plan.

Is there any way one could consistently obtain PP UPs in the game? Or no?

Is there like an EV checker in the game? You know how in the other games, 3rd gen and beyond, there's usually a person who tells you if your Pokemon has 510 EVs in them? They'll say something like, "This pokemon has given a lot of effort" and then give it a ribbon if it has, or say, "I think this Pokemon can put in a little more effort, if it does, I have a reward for it."

Well, I suppose you have a point. Although, I must admit, I was looking for easy and simple things to oneshot. Like, the bugs won't be too much of a problem.... the resistances are annoying for the Sp.Atk.

hdjsfldsb;ifh So, I was doing this, and I found a lucky egg and finally got my last pokemon to 41 and I caught a shiny magcargo and a shiny machop!!! and the GAME CRASHED!!! D: I'M SO DONE WITH EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW >.<

But... who's to say that he simply didn't replace the image file for whatever pokemon he caught and then named it Arceus?

So, there's no easy place for an electric type to train Sp.Atk or Def is there? Like, most of them are grass types... and the unknown would create an issue as I try to train against them since I already have 148 EVs in my Mareep... And then most of the defense ones available to us are ground types, unless I missed something?
