3. This guide helps set out new players in the right direction. It's thoroughly thought out and broken up into segments that allows newer players to understand the mechanics behind a battle. What a fine work Skittles and Slanted Hill did. Marvelous work.

6. Laddering- "a series of usually ascending steps or stages." Competitive- "inclined, desiring, or suited to compete" Luck- "the events or circumstances that operate for or against an individual" " favoring chance" The definitions above give clear and concise idea about what laddering competitive is without luck factoring in. Laddering, as clearly shown, is the climbing through the "steps," which is referedto as ranking. The competitive scene means a desire to compete for laddering. Never have I heard of wanting to competitively participate in any competition and hope to win by luck. It is what separates those who truly want to advance and not. By not implementing Wi-Fi you want to "luck" out in a battle. Wi-Fi is meant ot give equal access for both opponents to make changes and adapt to the opponents team. By not having Wi-Fi these "luck" based battles will continue to infect the ladders with people who can battle and people who can't. It's literally no different than "Ghosting", "Sniping"... why? Because it's based of an edge that is not given to any party. It's the exact reason why there's a problem with Swagger, Baton Pass. You can't possibly put people who have no motivation behind the competition side of laddering with those who want it. This is comparable with saltwater; the water is ladder and salt is people who wish to win based off of "luck." In the end I spit saltwater out because it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth similarly with what my experience with people who claim that luck is fun when I devote time to prove myself among the populace of how good I am. Here a perfect example of what happens when you put me without Wi-Fi battle. Notice how in the very beginning I lost my Infernape because I had no idea of what was happening? Exactly because I was unprepared. So now the moral of the story. The battle proves my point as to why it should be implemented because it's based off of luck and not skill.
7. Oh ok... Hi there! Don't listen to Cowtao he's a major scrub from the ocean floor. Seeing as you like Darker Than Black welcome to Reborn!!! I hope you enjoy your time with the game! ;]
8. If you so happen to go against a team that's not in your favor it doesn't mean it's a bad team, your wrong there. It just means that you may need to tweak you composition around to enable you to learn from your mistakes. As well as your stand on No-Preview and Wi-Fi seems to be what the general consensus is coming to meet at. Same goes for your comment as well Silver.
9. In retrospect to what Neo said, the Wi-Fi Clause is meant to further enhance the competitive scene through minimizing the effects of winning through mere luck. You can't compare a, dare I say, "noob" matched-up against an experienced player and decide that they win. That winning is both false and unconventional to the experienced player. Such victory is minimized and battles are more truthful and instead of plastic.
10. There's just seems to be a lot of intelligent remark made from the last few pages... God Damn nice job everyone! This thread is going along nicely! I like how everyone is pitching in with their ideas, hopefully we can come to a consensus! ;]
11. I can never disregard or disrespect some one's very own opinion. Every one is entitled to one and your no exception ;]. Yes I will admit that it merits it's own problems but positives outweigh the cons. I'm actually very glad that you feel so strongly about your opinion and your not swayed, that shows character and ultimately leads to progress. I understand very well what people think. What you don't seem to grasp is the very concept of minority and majority. I have yet to see this understanding from anyone besides a few mention-able people, and that includes you ;]. Furthermore, your reasoning has not surpassed even your most recent posts. I finalize like this, just like you stated if they don't like it, don't play it. The majority, which no one specific person and/or third party group represents, have their own say in matters. The people who have stated why they want it have given really good rebuttals as to why it should sway into their favor. Nonetheless, the poll will ultimately decide what gets done. These posts are meant to express our very own opinions, not as propaganda which seems to be what it happening with those who just state that want it done their way because they said so.
12. The transition to college is boring >.>
