Game crashing at startup

5 posts in this topic

Hello,

I recently downloaded this game. Whenever I try to start it, it crashes. I have tried to open it as administrator and in compatibility(XP service pack 1 & 2 & 3) and neither one worked.

My computer definitely could run this game, as I have Nvidia GeForce gtx 660 Ti and intel Core i5 -3570k and 8 gb ram.

I took a picture of the error that occurs, I translated the most important parts.

Good to hear that I'm not alone, but I didn't find anything related to this problem. Most of the topics were just about windows 8 etc. So this problem still remains unsolved.

Edit: Oh, just noticed too that the link you gave, redirects me instantly to: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/support#top-solutions=windows-7 Maybe that is why I didn't find anything from there. Though, how can I go to the website you suggested or are they the same?

Oh... Hm. Uh... See if you can do a quick search on Data Execution Prevention. DEP settings tend to be the issue here.
