Off the top of my head for example, does sacred sword used by Aegislash in fairytale field gain stab damage and the 50% boost that all steel move get? According to bulbapedia and other sources, Flying Press does not give STAB for Flying type. This means that in canon games a Flying Type Smeargle deals less damage than a Fighting Type one (Reflect Type to changes types) and in Reborn Electrode wont gain STAB from Explosion in electric terrain.
