Choice Scarf Ep. 18

Is it possible to obtain choice scarf legally (if you don´t consider stealing from Indra "legal")? I read somewhere about a Hiker giving it to you if you´ve done a side quest involving him in an earlier episode. Is that true, and if so, is there a way to obtain it if you missed the quest?

Other then Indra if you miss the hiker that gives you the Onix currently there isn't, next episode there should be the pentatop which should have them

The choice items are currently located in the penthouse at the very top of the Department Store, which cannot be accessed without cheating.

Thanks for your answers. As an update: I talked to the hiker and he gave me a choice specs, not choice scarf.

During morning/day he'll be in the grass area just under Julia gym pretty much

There is no way to obtain the choice scarf legally in this version. The hiker will give the choice band/specs based on which you did not receive from the aqua/magma gang for completing their final quest.
