They even stated that in the announcement. She still scored very high to the point they chose her as being one of the most reasonable ones to make. Just look at bayonetta in the game. Everybody else saw it coming. the only thing we've seen them do with the votes is make lame dlc costumes... and give us characters in smash u so far. I think you're misunderstanding. The article shows that data was added for Bayonetta not very long after the ballot was announced, which means they started working on her probably before the ballot was even announced. What I'm saying here is that (For Sm4sh at least) you're votes didn't mean anything and the outcome would have been the same no matter who "won". Nothing you just said is based on facts or contridicts what commander said. Facts. 1. They may have potentially tallied the votes approximately 2 weeks after the ballot went live. 2. ZSS and Ike data got moved around insinuated that work had started on Bayo and cloud. Nothing substantial. 3. You claimed that work started before the ballot. That is you overreacting and making poorly based speculation to get yourself mad over nothing. The article never said that they started work that early. The article is also working off of hypothesis. 4. It was confirmed that the ballot will be used for future smash titles, and smash ultimate started planning process shortly after ending the ballot. So all the newcomers, echos, and Assist Trophies are choices that a lot of people voted for. 5. They never said that Bayonetta “won” nor did they say that there would be a “winner”.
