Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle

Just wanted to see if there was any interest around these parts in Arc System Works's newest anime crossover fighting game, using characters from Blazblue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night: In Birth, and even a few characters original to fighting games from RWBY!

 

It's basically consumed most of my free time for the past two weeks; even as someone new to fighting games, it's incredibly fun for me, not only because it's very accessible (fewer normal buttons, some short autocombos so newbies can still deal *some* damage), but also because there's plenty of strategic aspects regarding nuetral, zoning, assist bursts/reversals and the baiting thereof, and so on. 

 

My main team so far has been Aigis/Ruby, since they're pretty much my top two favorites out of the cast so far; it helps that they have an interaction, and that they work well together in terms of supporting each other's zoning and pressure. However, being as I'm still pretty new to fighting games, I tend to lose a lot.

I was just talking about this game in the Discord.  Was showing off my combos for Yu, Yosuke, Kanji, and Ruby.

I'm working on combos, but right now I'd say my main issue is forgetting to anti-air when I really should. That, and I need to assists more often, and maybe get better at blocking mixups, and more consistent quarter-circles, etc.
