All you need is an art program where you can edit sprites (graphics gale for example) and access to the games graphics files, which Reborn and Rejuvenation both have. For example you want to play as an NB character? Just edit any sprites you want to use as base, and replace the files accordingly. As in replace the files belonging to the protagonist you chose and voila! New sprites in game. There are a good deal of sprite sheets so depending on how much edits you want to do, it can take awhile. But it's totally rewarding.
