  1. FINALLY made it to Party City! Can't wait to get the last badge, take on the E4 and then proceed to look for Legendaries and the last few marbles and what-have-you. This game is friggin' HUGE! XD
  2. What do you think of my explanation of how the player character can change genders, become different Pokemon, etc.? (not to mention the fact they can use most TMs without even having to teach them to their Pokemon)
  3. I did use RPGXP and accessed the debug mode in this game's .rxproj file. I gave myself Mewtwo and Giratina (replacing Espurr and my starter, respectively). I also filled my bag with 99 of every item. I think the .rxproj file hasn't been updated to reflect the deletion of Sky Drop. That's how it got back into my game. I might consider using RPGXP to remove any stray typos that have so far escaped proofreading efforts. Trust me--mine are "laser eyes": hardly anything gets past my draconian grammar and spelling acumen. Also, I remember when I was using an earlier version of your game where Espurr's overworld sprites were slightly..."off". That's been fixed now. I absolutely ADORE Espurr. Imagine an Espurr as a Pokemon trainer. I don't think any human (or Sea Star) trainer could keep up. Heck--it would be like facing a diminutive Crolea (she is completely in sync with her Pokemon, so she doesn't even have to say anything to them during battle). My personal headcanon is that the player character is in fact a Mew in disguise, and decided to be Emily's adopted younger sibling. This would explain how they can become any gender they choose, or transform into various Pokemon throughout the game (Espurr, M/F Meowstic, Slowking, Cradily, Musharna and Corsola).
  4. Actually, I started a new game on Episode 8. Therefore, there seems to be at least one Pokemon (Aerodactyl, there may be others) who retain Skydrop in its/their learnset(s). I can always just avoid teaching my Pokemon the move (if it's still in their learnsets), and trash any Sky Drop TMs that might be in my inventory. I think it was due to having used the Debug mode to fill my bag with 99 of every item in the game that reintroduced it. If so, my bad.
  5. That's the link I used to download the game, though. I wonder if somehow Sky Drop was simply removed from the movelists, but NOT the actual Pokemon? It seems Aerodactyl still has the move. I can easily replace it with Fly if it'll get rid of the bug. Also of note: by avoiding using Sky Drop on Gliscor, I was able to progress further into the story. Strange that I never ran into this in earlier runs through the game (one of which saw me get to the 17th badge).
  6. I may have found a bug regarding Natalie (the Bat Lady). When you use Sky Drop on her Gliscor, it will say the move doesn't affect it. Then EVERY attack afterward will miss (including sure-shot moves like Swift and Aura Sphere!). This bug will affect every single Pokemon in your party. In short, until this bug is fixed, do NOT use Sky Drop on ANY Gliscor (not sure if Natalie's is the only one bugged, so just...play it safe). This is definitely a bug because there are no moves, type combos or abilities that render a Pokemon immune to flying-type moves...that I know of. P.S. I think I know what causes the bug: due to Gliscor's glitched "immunity", Sky Drop never finishes, and is therefore considered "stuck in the air", and can't attack or be attacked. I'm going to see if the bug affects any other flying-type moves (such as Fly, Acrobatics or Aerial Ace). Update: It seems as though only Sky Drop is affected by this bug. Fly and Acrobatics work as intended.
  7. What other pokemon can you play "as" besides the holiday ones (and the three Pokemon shown in front of the Pokecenter counter)?
  8. Thanks, Witch. I was worried I had somehow passed the Mega Ring. I have a tendency to blunder right past obvious stuff quite frequently. There's no wonder I tend to get in sticky situations. I've wound up in situations before where I had accidentally rendered some game or other "Unwinnable by Mistake".
  9. Oh, I see. Halloween Espurr was designed to do that, apparently. It's kinda weird, but funny. I also found Christmas Slowking (who is really cute). I wonder what the other two holiday Pokemon are...? There's no mention of them anywhere, and this game doesn't seem to have a dedicated wiki yet. Also: where do I find the Mega Ring? I've found quite a few Mega Stones, and it would be rather disappointing to find out that there's no way to effectively use them.
  10. Did Halloween Espurr's animation sprites get fixed? When I go to play as her, she walks sideways or backwards and stuff. (Basically, certain left-facing and rear-facing animations are swapped or something).
  11. There's just something satisfying about crushing AI trainers into a semi-comatose paste with a vastly superior team. I hate hax. I hate the cheap tactics that the AI resorts to on frequent occasion. So it gives me a viciously satisfying rush when I soundly whup an AI's team six ways from Sunday with my vastly superior team. There's no better feeling to me than rather forcibly reminding the AI just who the smarter entity is. This is how I achieve stress relief. Use the AI as a "punching bag". Currently at badge #7.
  12. Found it already. Anyway, it leads to the Olidroll Underground...and a rather irritating, hax-loving admin named Natalie. She's going to be greeted to a rather TOXIC awakening though...heh heh. My Salazzle is level 47, and easily capable of crushing even resistant Pokemon with her Toxic + Venoshock combo. Typical whining AI response upon losing: "Okay...I wasn't expecting you to be that good." Other classics are "Urgh! No fair!" and "Did you cheat?"
  13. oh, okay. But...I've already scoured the Recreational area, as well. NO Tavern. Just the contest hall, dentist office, candy shop, and a couple other non-tavern buildings. Correction: There's the Pokemon Fan Club, Trainer Fan Club, a locked gym, the park, and the contest hall. Oh...nevermind. Apparently this "gym" is actually the tavern.
  14. How soon until those gyms are made available? And I'm in the residential district. All I see are identical rows of houses. NO tavern.
