  1. I've been here for almost five years at this point (started in ep16). I can remember the first time I saw Reborn City -- the atmosphere was something I had never seen in a pokemon game at this point. By the end of ep16's content, I was ecstatic to see where this game would go but I wasn't sure how long it would take to reach the end. After finally entering the Nightclub for the first time, I can say that the wait was well worth it. I still have a ton of postgame content to do, but I feel the need to express my gratitude to the devs that have been working on this game throughout these years. The innovations that Reborn brought to the table are outstanding. Although Reborn may be wrapping up, it has already inspired many other wonderful games that will continue its legacy. Despite the giant spider that came out of fucking nowhere next to my foot as I'm writing this, I have enjoyed every moment playing and thinking about this game. Thank you all for all the good times, and good luck with any future endeavours!
  2. Kiki has a CM Psychic Lucario which could do the job, but swalot has yawn which is insanely broken and had been the only reason why Thamill hasn't wiped yet. The only place I can see swalot dying is in a double battle where it doesn't resist the two opposing pokemon *cough* Dr. Connel *cough*.
  3. How the hell did this man only lose one mon during this fight?? Ame really needs to move Poochyena later into the game, that thing is broken.
  4. Alright, so here are my thoughts after watching the direct a few times: 100% getting Shield because I like big floof-ball Doggo rather than Digimon Doggo. The direct hinted at weather being a factor for how pokemon spawned, and it looked like the game is going to be run on a clock that switches from night and day;allowing new pokemon to be caught at different times, just like in gen 2. I like the sheep pokemon, and the crow/falcon, but I don't really know what to think about the turtle. Not really a fan of Dynamaxing, as it just seems like putting mega evolution and z-moves together for three turns, but still having the ability to mega and use z-moves on other pokemon. It's definitely going to be huge for competitive, but I personally think that having so many gimmicks in battle will confuse newer players, as they would have to predict what the mega mon is, the z mon is, and the 'max pokemon is all in one battle. There goes half of a team of six from using items, to gimmicks, with only three pokemon left to use normal items. However, that might be shortened down to two if armor gets added. On to the characters, the professor looks like a female Oak, and I'm fine with that. However, I am not fine with our rival's name, "Hop". Like what are these wack names. I don't know how that's supposed to tie into the British, but ok. The gym leader we were shown looks very weird due to having a unit body, but having a very childish face. I wasn't expecting Gamefreak to give us our champion right off the bat, so it tells me that this champion is going to be more involved with the story than others. In fact, I think that the champion is going to be the evil villian; he just seems too suspicious with them saying that he has somehow never lost a battle, which makes me think that he somehow cheats during every battle. I don't know if it's a trend, but aren't we supposed to be shown our villain team, or someone related to the villains sometime soon? Either way the villains are going to be wanting the 'Maxing power for themselves to wreak havoc, or maybe they already have it if the champion is their leader. On a side note, I don't know why anyone would go to those gym battles, because it seems like everytime someone 'maxes a pokemon and uses a move, it kills like half the stadium at least. Also ngl, when they showed that big Gyarados, I got Rejuvenation vibes from it. Also the music was great.
  5. Sorry to confuse you, I should have stated that completing the Kyogre/Groudon quest or the Xerneas/Yveltal quest should not allow Rayquaza or Zygarde to be caught, just unlocked for a future quest involving them, which was where I was trying to go with the ideas that they're not in the Reborn region until their respective prequest has been started/finished. I've fixed it in post.
  6. My list of favorite to least favorite characters: Tier list on how hard the gym leaders are:
  7. I would also like if that happened, but I don't think it will. Especially with Rejuvenation, if we're allowed access to a few areas like East Gearen, Ame has no idea how many times Jan will change the layout and graphics of those areas over time, as Rejuvenation will continue after Reborn ends. It would be a pain to redo all the quests just because Jan changed something.
  8. So due to the recent postgame blog addressing how quests for legendary pokemon are to be a large part of the postgame, I've decided to theory craft what these quests could entail. I would first like to say that these are MY opinions on how I would go about making the quests, if I could, not how they should be done. I'm not trying to come off like my ideas are what I expect the end product to be; I'm just listing my ideas for the quests. Also, keep in mind that I'm not a book writer that can come up with amazing plots. Anyways without further ado, these are my ideas of every legendary and their quests that mentioned in the dev blog: Cresselia/Darkrai: I paired these two together because I feel that the quest could involve something similar to what happened in gen 4/gen 5 where we go on a quest to get a lunar wing for a child having nightmares, find Cresselia for the wing, then go into the kids dream to fight Darkrai. Does Reborn have a spooky house? Regice/Registeel/Regirock/Regigigas: tbh, I feel that there shouldn't be a quest just for the first three and that they could be found in their respective regions after completing a puzzle for each. However, Regigigas should get a quest involving the byxbysion corruption or something, where you need the three regis to save Regigigas or something. Raikou/Entei/Suicune: My boy Eusine needs to make a comeback to help us track down Suicune. The story can have three parts, one for each dog. Maybe the dogs are roaming after their specific quest? [Mesprit/Uxie/Azelf: ] Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres: Adrienn says that there's something going on at Shade's power plant, once we get there we find that someone is trying to reroute the electricity from the power plant to below Dr. Connal's Orphanage in an attempt to power up Zapdos. We eventually find out that there are two other people who are trying to use Team Meteor's pulse machines to recreate Pulse Camerupt and Pulse Avalugg to power Moltres and Articuno or something. Thundurus/Tornadus/Landorus: So I really like these three, and I would make a quest based around Tornado Hunters where we follow Tornadus, and we have to go to a weather station to find where Thundurus is. Afterwards, we become archaeologists and we go deep into a cave in Tourmaline Desert to find a Shrine to get Landorus. [Cobalion/Terrakion/Virizion/Keldeo: ] Celebi: We go to the Aevium Region and since they like time travel sooooo much, why don't we help them with some stuff in the past and find Celebi (or not cuz time travel is wack and makes everything harder). Meloetta: So Hardy likes guitar, and Meloetta likes singing, so why don't we put two together and have a sidequest where we help Hardy make a band. [Victini: ] Volcanion: Since Volcanion is said to live in mountains where humans do not tread in its Pokedex entry, there could be a quest where we go to Teknite Range to investigate high moisture levels (because Volcanion can produce steam) in an area that is close to a desert. Hoopa: "In its true form, it possesses a huge amount of power. Legends of its avarice tell how it once carried off an entire castle to gain the treasure hidden within". -Bulbapedia quoting the oras Pokedex. Hoopa is about to Z-Snatch Vanhanen Castle and get triggered when there's no treasure because Radomus is broke. Zeraora: Chrysolia Cave (Joke lol). Anyways, if we do fight it, it'll probably be on the Factory/Short Circuit Fields since Zeraora needs electricity from outside sources "Zeraora lacks an electricity-generating organ, so it gathers and stores electricity from outside sources." -bulbapedia quoting the official pokemon usum site's entry for Zeraora. Magearna: We could have a quest involving the scrapyard where we assemble a Magearna or follow it around until we corner it and Magearna's mans (Melmetal) comes to beat us up. Jirachi: Idk, ask Anna nicely? I seems to me that Anna would be the one that has Jirachi, and fights us with it during our Elite 4 challenge. Tapu Lele/Fini/Bulu/Koko: Not sure about Lele, Koko, and Fini, but Bulu's dex entry says "It commands plants to immobilize its foes and then deals them a savage blow with its horns." Jasper and Beryl Wards: "Ah shit, here we go again. " Diancie: There might be a quest involving a Gemologist going into Iolia Valley's caverns. It would be cool to have a puzzle involving the direction of light through crystals. Heatran: I'll be honest, there is only one place in Reborn that Heatran could be, and that's at the center of Pyrous Mountain. If it isn't there, then I don't know, maybe Tanzan Mountain? Genesect: This seems like something Shelly would love to have, so I assume the quest will involve teaming up with her in Aventurine Woods. Lati@s: Maybe in one town you meet a silent girl who's suspicious, and you trail her as she visits a bunch of places, then goes to Latios, and they have a team battle against you. Not really much to go off here. Marshadow: Reward from FITE Shaymin: I would have a quest involved around getting the Gracidea flower which might start in the flower shop in the Lapis Ward, and maybe go to the flower place before Titania's gym. Maybe there's a quest involving Sandy, which could have been alluded to in the postgame blog, pointed out by Imperial. Mew?: under trash bin in Peridot. Idk if there's a truck anywhere in Reborn. Dialga/Palkia: I feel like we could find Dialga under the Grand Staircase, as Adrienn was moved from the past to the future, and find Palkia in the glitched world that we fought tErRa in because space is warped, or some other place, hell, maybe in the black hole that Gardevoir made. Groudon/Kyogre: Kyogre has to be under Azurine Lake, which is why there's a lake there, and Groudon has to be beyond that sandstorm which is blocking us from advancing north of the Scrapyard, which is why there's a desert there. Lugia/Ho-oh: We could need Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres to find Lugia, and Raikou, Entei, and Suicune to find Ho-oh. Don't know where they would be though. Reshiram/Zekrom/Kyurem: The only place where we've seen Reshiram and Zekrom are in Titania's Fairy Tale, which could be where we find them again, but get a chance to fight them based off which route we took with Taka. I would imagine Kyurem being somewhere in Ametrine Mountain. The quest could involve gathering the three legendaries and finding the DNA splicers from remnants of Team Meteor. Xerneas/Yveltal: I have no idea how Ame is going to add this many quests into Reborn; there isn't enough space to even think about where these two would go. Like are we going to have to fight in the streets of Reborn or something? Not to mention, there still has to be room for the ultra beasts too. Lunala/Solgaleo: "It is said to live in another world" -Solgaleo's dex entry. We're going to ultra space, there's no other way. Deoxys: Willing to say that we might see Deoxys during the main story, when we eventually get past THE DOOR because Reborn got smacked by a meteor a long time ago right. Giratina: Distortion world incoming. "Legends claim that Giratina appears in cemeteries" -Bulbapedia. The portal to the Distortion World might be in that cave with the totem near Beryl Cemetery after or during Giratina's quest. I also agree with Cadmium48's idea that Giratina could be found in Chrysolia Cave due to the similarities with Turnback Cave from DPPt. Rayquaza: Probably going to come down from the Ozone Layer during the Groudon/Kyogre quest. Personally think that the quest will just allow us to access the quest for Rayquaza, not catch it. Zygarde: Help me if we have to do the Zygarde cell collectathon bs from Rejuvenation. Isn't this thing supposed to wake up if the ecosystem is screwed up? Then why did it do jack shit when Reborn was on the verge of being uninhabitable!? It's definitely not in the region. Will probably show up during the Xerneas/Yveltal quest with the same idea as Rayquaza, where we won't catch it, but be able to unlock a quest to catch it. Necrozma: It looks the exact same as the dark crystals in the caves of Iolia Valley. Necrozma could have just not gotten enough light and stopped moving. "Light is the source of its energy. If it isn't devouring light, impurities build up in it and on it, and Necrozma darkens and stops moving." -USUM Pokedex. Mewtwo: I could see Mewtwo being in Byxbysion in one of those weird tubes with switches. I always thought they looked similar to the things that held the clones in the Mewtwo Strikes Back movie. Arceus: We probably fight it at the end of the story, and then after obtaining every other pokemon, Arceus could allow us to fight and catch them if we go through a bunch of trials/battles. Thank god I'm on Summer break, that took close to four hours to write and research. For now, I left the Lake Guardians, the Swords of Justice, and Victini without anything because I really don't know where they would go. In fact, I kinda ran out of steam near the end, because at that point there were so many legendaries that didn't have any leads to where they would go, and some legendaries would be going in the same places as others. However, for now, I rest. I might come back to fill in anything if I get new ideas from myself or others. Either way, I'm sorry for the big essay and I'm not even sure if I'm in the right place to post this, but I hope you have a good day. Peace.

Waiting a few years is nothing compared to how long it'll take for me to shiny hunt all of these suckers for good iv's, and I'm still too lazy to even attempt to get poipole a year into ep 18. Jesus, it's already been a year, that's crazy.
  10. Let's not forget Luke, Callum, and everybody else who had to deal with Nappy's remarks.
  11. There is no way the penta-op and Nappy are coming back after this. The entire situation has been completely disgusting and it angers me to think that a certain person will inevitably clickbait everything to prove why he's the only "good" person in the Pokemon community.
  12. I could talk about the reasons why I enjoy, and value Pokemon as one of my favorite series for a long time. Generally, I'm not someone who's played since day 1, in fact, I came in the middle of generation 4, but I've probably invested more time into this series than anything else I have, besides Legend of Zelda. It all started one Christmas, around 2008-2009, when I was given a GameBoy Advance, and a bunch of Pokemon games. Specifically Blue, and Leafgreen. I vividly remember turning on Blue for the first time, and taking an hour to figure out where the door to the house was. I ran out of ideas and started hugging the wall, and I managed to go outside. I absolutely had no idea what was going on, but I went through the game anyway, and it was amazing. The aspect of the varying amount of choices was mind boggling to me, and it was great to figure stuff out, such as that one guard that needed something to drink. It took me MONTHS to beat the Elite 4, until I finally managed to do it with my lvl 83 Zapdos, and everything else lvl 40's. I ran around my house, happy at my accomplishment when I finally beat Gary. This would become the building blocks that readied me for the next generation that I would play. A generation which came to include my favorite game of all time. That generation was gen 5, and my favorite game of all time is Pokemon Black. I think that the point of gen 5 was to reinvent gen 1, which was why black and white had almost all new pokemon, and nothing else from other gens. I believe that Game Freak succeeded in doing so. I actually didn't know of Black and White until 2011, until my friend's brother came over, and brought a DS and Pokemon White. He was having trouble beating Burgh, and I asked him if I could try. I ended up beating Burgh with a Pidove and a Servine. I instantly wanted the game, but I had to wait until my birthday later in the year, until I could get it. When I got it, I played it, and continued playing it until I suddenly beat the game. When N said "goodbye" and the end credits music started playing, I realized how beautiful the game had been. I realized that I loved the music, and I loved the characters, and I loved the pokemon, and I loved the areas. It hit on me how much better Pokemon Black was then Blue and Leafgreen. Gen 1 didn't have much of a story at all, no music that I personally enjoyed, but Gen 5 had those, and much more. I believe that if I played Black as my first game, I would have disliked it, but because of my prior experience in the battle mechanics, I had the time to notice the other good aspects of the game, such as the music and the plot. No other game since has managed to recreate that moment of joy, combined with sadness, when I realized that the game was suddenly over, and that the journey was incredible. Well, besides Breath of the Wild, but that's for another topic. From then on, I got SoulSilver, and Platinum, and enjoyed them too, but they couldn't revive that moment of satisfaction at the end of the game, when you realized how good the game really was. Instead, I noticed everything as it came, and "gained" an appreciation for the games that came before. In fact, that's where I got my name from. I was a kid, and substituted the "ed" for "ery" to make it sound more like a name, and I've just rolled with it since. After that, my thirst for new Pokemon experiences brought me here, and that's where I stand today. Thank you for reading this rather blocky response, and I hope everyone has a great rest of their day.
  13. Well first, if you're playing on episode 18, you should open up the menu and go to controls. From there, you go to the bottom to where it says "special/auto sort" and check to see if it's input is A. If it's already A, then I can't be sure what to do next because it's been a while since I've gone through that part of the game. I can't remember if whiting out still keeps you in Devon, or sends you to a pokemon center, but if it does, then you should stock up. Sorry if this doesn't help much.
  14. So far, I enjoy the opening part for the series. I don't think that anybody else has done a walkthrough quite like this, and it will be a fun thing to watch as it comes out. The only minor thing that I saw was that your Chimchar evolved, and (as far as I know) you did not mention it evolving. It might be a minute detail, but it would be nice if you could show, or talk about the evolutions of important party members briefly. It would give a sense of time progression between cuts, or give someone a time-frame between when they get a pokemon, and when they should expect it to evolve if they battle everyone. Other than that, good work so far!
  15. Ok, so I drew on the map of the region with what I think the pathways we will be going through are. I apologize for the small, and trash, writing. Unfortunately, it's very hard to see, and there were a lot of colors used, so zooming in might be necessary, (or not, depending how the image scales for the post). Edit: If anyone can tell me how to increase the size to the point that Maqqy had it, that would be great. The thing just seems smaller than the windows paint version that I have unfortunately.
  16. Going off what Destrakon and JoStarNight said, Arcanine is a great pokemon to use for your fifth slot, as an intimidator is always nice for both single and double battles. For your sixth slot, I recommend Diggersby. With huge power, it becomes an absolute monster if paired with Swords Dance, and you can get its pre-evolution Bunnelby at around Shelly. Combined with Earthquake, Hammer Arm, the elemental punches, Return, Stone Edge, and much more, it becomes really good for carrying your team. For the later half of the game, your replacement for Meowstic would best be handled by Alakazam. First off, you don't have anything that can mega-evolve yet, and secondly, Alakazam is almost as fast as Weavile. Although Alakazam's mega stone isn't in the game yet, it's still a fast and hard hitter in its base form. Alternatively, you have the option to replace Meowstic with Swoobat, which is also good, having access to Calm Mind, Double Team, and being almost as fast as Alakazam. You can also get it as soon as you get a starter, and go into the underground railnet. Of course, it's your decision for what pokemon you want, but I do recommend having more than six pokemon, with a few always being rotated in and out. Good luck.
  17. Maybe this is just me thinking too much into it, but Nappy hasn't tweeted when the last two episodes of Reborn came out when he clearly is tweeting about everything else, along with his inconsistent pokemon upload schedule, and this tweet: It really makes me think that Nappy is moving away from pokemon to other games in a twitch setting.
  18. Hey, I'm doing a water monotype run and just got past the first Tangrowth fight, and I want to get a Seel with Perish Song and Water Pulse, which are it's egg moves, so I don't have to spend a few hours on the next two fights. The iv's can be around 15-20 and a neutral nature would would be appreciated. The ability doesn't matter and I would be fine with getting it at lvl 5. Also, I would like to get a frillish as I don't believe that I can get it early-on besides from the egg you get from the daycare quest, and I want to try it out on Shade, as it would have evolved into a jellicent by then. Water absorb, along with the same iv's, nature, and lvl as Seel would be great. Thank you Game.rxdata
