Now, we discussed the possibility of a game set in a region based off of Egypt. I was hesitant to announce this because I've seen many fangames that never got off the ground, plus I really don't have anything solid to offer with this game. Heck, I don't even have a name for the region. I guess this isn't the ideal time to announce something like this especially since September is only a few days away. Who wants to help make this concept a reality? All help is appreciated, I only have people working on story right now. It would be really great if I could get a good spriter to help me with trainer sprites, because I lack artistic ability. FEATURES: We do have a few ideas on what to include in the game: -All Pokemon are available (including legendaries, mythical and pseudo-legendary Pokemon) -Romance (player will have the option to romance other characters as the game progresses) -New Pokemon variant form I'll update this regularly, so you guys can see the progress we make. You're probably right. So let's say we have non-traditional starters. Which Pokemon could be possible candidates besides Riolu and Yamask?

Maybe the Elite Four could be pharaohs instead? Based off of Hatshepsut, Cleopatra, Tutankhamun, and Ramses II? Shinx would make a good starter, and we could have Water and Ground type starters as well. Maybe Tympole and Rhyhorn? Yamask and Riolu are part of a two stage evolution line, so I don't think it makes sense for them to be starters. It looks absolutely amazing!! Best Fakemon designs I've seen in ages!

After I saw gameplay from Assassin's Creed Origins, I was like "Man I wish there was a Pokemon game with this kind of architecture." So I decided to ask others about their opinions on this subject, hence this thread. So what are your thoughts about a game set in Egypt? Starters? Gym Leaders?
