  1. if you have a lot of AP then just buy the defense and Sp Def room cards in the Casino at the Chrisola Hotel then go EV train at the Gearen Laboratory
  2. Not really, to be honest the electric type isnt crucial but it would make your experience later on easier, but the altaria is kind of a must, they start at level twenty somethin in Sheridan and as long as it has the proper IVs the leveling should be fairly simple due to the audino trainers that are strategically placed throughout
  3. Get a tank Altaria with cloud nine and max Def and Sp Def that way you can take full advantage of your Blaziken and not have to worry bout the water, hopefully it has speed boost, and you should maybe fly through the gym? The only real problem i see you facing is his araquanid and galvantula, so what i reccomend is subbing out pangoro and maybe swoobat and find some electric type, theres an electrike at the chrisola hotel and a magnemite after yo complete all the help center quests in kakori (i apologize for that lil spoiler). But lead off with graveler first and get rid of galvantal since that will destroy all your flying types, proceede to bring in altaria and blaziken to theoretically sweep most of the team, and if you have speed boost then you shouldnt need to worry about his pinsir either, hopeflly this helps and if i can be of any more asisstance please do not hesitate to ask
  4. Okay so Angie I was wrong i just got my typing effectiveness mixed up, thats my mistake, but for flora grass resists electricity and magneton/zone would be effective against only one pokemon during that gym, in regards to the building the bridges quest i attempted that as soon as i could after battling valerie and tried my hardest to complete it with a max sp atc Xatu and an Altaria and i was getting swept everytime (and i was outspeeding his team too) plus theres the battle in Battle Me Once More that will also give them a hard time for level based factor alone. like i said earlier its ultimately up to the player how they want to conduct their time in the game but im giving my advice based on how the game played out for me
  5. Magnemite would be a viable option however the methods to obtain magnemite is where i hesitate. Now this may have been just my problem but to complete some of the Kakori help quests you need fairly high level mons or serious luck. Do i think magnemite is not a viable option, of course not, its just that there are equally good electric types that they could get now to fulfill a purpose later...plus if they got magnemite i see two immediate problems. 1) This may just be personal naiveness but i dont know where you could level magnemite up to get a magnezone and 2) even if you were to get the magnemite now, due to its typing it would be useless against Amber, Angie, and Flora (two of which are considered to be the hardest gyms in the game) whereas a solid electric only is useless against Flora, but thats my reasoning the choice still goes to the player and I'm sure Ive missed some things that may convince me otherwise
  6. I dont have a mienfoo on e mainly bc i never cared enough to catch one, but i have to ask are you catching one because its like your favorite mon and you want to have one or for strategic purposes?
  7. After defeating the gym there should be a couple more scenes of dialogue then the screen will go black telling you that youve reached the end of the episode, as of now all there is left for you to do are the help center quests and the various side quests throughout Rejuvenation
  8. Can I ask what part of Terras team is giving you the most trouble?
  9. Arcanine should be fine but I've always been more of a Talonflame supporter, Im assuming youre on Samson and Talonflame wrecks shop especially since it gets Acrobatics and has a boost in the gym that you will be fighting in, on the other hand Charlotte will destroy you brutally so what Ive ended up doing is picking up a cyndaquil in an upcoming event, get it so it has Flash fire with high speed and have it have eruption, it will work wonders for you
  10. Im going to try and spoil as little as possible for you but youre going to be getting REALLY close to Venam as the story progresses, I'm not gonna go too in depth but since youre approaching the second gym leader, Keta youre also going to see how Melias death plays a huge role in the story, so does Zetta (not that he dies (or does he) but he plays a major roll and plays with your emotions as you approach the end of ep 10), once you finish the second gym however youll have a lot of time spent with Venam so that should be good for you. I know you didnt ask for it but as you approach the third gym, dont be misled, be sure to do ALL the sidequests and explore all the area, and thats all im gonna say on that. Glad to hear you enjoy the game though.
  11. Personally I would recommend a few more ways to resist electric, also with your setup as it currently is you look like youre going to have a tough time with the grass gym when you get to it (field effects will end your team on that gym). I would also recommend investing some time to either combat fire pokemon or to eliminate weather (cough cloud nine ability) that will help you in certain fights that I will not name specifically to not spoil the game for you. The ice gym should be fine if you can melt the field, if not then have some fighting moves on standby. And lastly youre going to get annihilated when you get to the flying gym, unless that is the bulkiest lycanroc in the world. My advice on the whole would to get a solid electric type i now you can get a mareep from a help quest somewhere i forget which specifically, or get the electrike from the Chrisola Hotel and get the manectrike evo. and then in regards to dragon types i just got a swablu when i was still working in Sheridan and my Altaria has been with me ever since.
  12. The electrike you get from the chrisola hotel and then the buizel event certainly have helped me a lot, theyre both still in my team and im in Grand Dream City, but seeing as how you have the froakie the buizel is not as crucial. However i strongly reccomend when you get to Sheridan that you get a swablu and evolve it to Altaria, make sure its ability is Clod Nine because it will help you significantly later in the game when certain doubles gym leaders rely on the weather
  13. what I did was that I made sure my typhlosion had eruption and flash fire, I won with that method first try as Typhlosion took practically no damage and wiped her entire team
