I followed Flora's path, and while that one is my personal favorite I think Erin's route would be the most "correct" out of them all. It's completely neutral, and seeing how both sides of the party (Cassandra and Bladestar) are both pretty bad in their own rights, I would say not taking sides is the best. Interestingly enough, when you are making the decision of which character to travel through Darchlight Cave with, they have you go in a specific direction. Choosing Florin leads you left and Flora's goes to the right, but Erin's is literally in the middle. No idea if this was intentional or not, but it was a cool mini-detail :P.
