  1. Thank you guys, I forgot about Ditto and the Nature guy
  2. Hello everyone I have some questions about breeding and would like to know if I understood the guide correctly, since I've never done this: First question: my Dragalge has a terrible Sp.Att. IV and I want to breed a Skrelp with better one. The Pokemon + IV and nature in question: Dragalge 70 (female): - HP: 27 - Att.:29 - Def.: 19 - Sp.Att.: 3 - Sp. Def.: 18 - Speed: 16 - Rash nature Wingull 11 (male): - HP: 20 - Att.: 15 - Def.: 31 - Sp.Att.: 29 - Sp.Def.: 26 - Speed: 12 - Lax nature Both Pokemon are part of the Water 1 Egg group so breeding is possible. If I want to breed a Skrelp with Wingulls Sp. Attack, then I'd have to equip Wingull with a Power Lense. Since the female Pokemon determines the species, I'd get a Skrelp with the Sp. Attack of Wingull and two other random IVs of the parents, right? Do you think I should equip Dragalge with an Everstone to keep the Sp. Attack increasing nature, or a Destiny Knot, since a lot of those IVs are in the 20ies? Second question: Is it possible for me to breed a Budew with Extrasensory, if my Roserade is male? My guess is no, since there is only one Budew available in the game and therefore I can never breed more Budews.
  3. Thanks for all the tipps Unfortunately I never found much Scales in the Rocks, so I'm a bit frugal with them. But my Blaziken learned Flare Blitz instead, and with Sky Uppercut it's not too far away from HJK in terms of damage (I hope^^) I'm infront of Charlotte now and trying to set up a trickroom/earthquake combo with my Golem and a captured Bronzong. Unfortunately it dies before it gets to act, even with Flameproof. Guess I have to train it a little more.^^ I also have a Druddigon with a potential for Rain Dance, but she tends to send her Ninetails out via Volt Switch, so it is sunny rather fast. I wish I remembered how I defeated her in my earlier game
  4. @Jk_Garchomp that's what Fire Pledge is for (according to the wiki). Did it change?
  5. Hello again! I'm just about to enter Agate Circus and wanted to ask you guys about your opinion of my team. In my last game I just could not beat a certain guy atop the mountain because I had no types that were effective against Ice (except Fire, but with the icy mountain terrain and hail, that strategy got blown out the window rather quick). I don't want that to happen again, so please help me (be it move choices or good pokemons/TMs for the upcoming fights that are unavailable after I enter the circus) Here are my leveled pokemons and their moves (I want all of them to have at least level 60 before I enter anyways): Blaziken 60 (Speed Boost) - Blaze Kick - Fire Pledge - Sky Uppercut - Strength Durant 59 (Hustle) - X-Scissors - Iron Head - Crunch - Dig Emolga 59 (Static) - Electro Ball - Discharge - Nuzzle - Acrobatics Empoleon 55 (Defiant) - Brine - Whirlpool - Icy Wind - Drill Peck Gardevoir 60 (Trace) - Psychic - Hypnosis - Calm Mind - Draining Kiss Golem 57 (Sand Veil) - Rock Blast - Smack Down - Stealth Rock - Earthquake Gourgeist 57 (Insomnia) - Phantom Force - Trick-or-Treat - Seed Bomb - Rock Smash Houndoom 53 (Unnerve) - Foul Play - Nasty Plot - Flamethrower - Fire Fang Magneton 59 (Analytic) - Discharge - Magnet Rise - Flash Cannon - Tri Attack Roserade 59 (Poison Point) - Petal Dance - Stun Spore - Toxic - Toxic Spikes PS: I'd rather avoid doing EV/IV training or breeding for certain moves and such. I just want to finish the game with the "ordinary/natural" Pokemons
  6. Thank you all for your replies I guess I will stick to Goldeen for a change and keep an eye out for other Pokemon. And it is nice of you to offer Eray, but I'm with Dreamblitz. I like challenging games more than easy ones (that's one of the reasons why I like Reborn more than the original games )
  7. Hey guys! Finally decided to sign up on this forum I'd like your opinion about water types you can get early (just beat Florinia's Gym), since I have no idea about a strategic pokemon play. Most of the time I pick Pokemon who look nice, like Budew, Dewgong and the like. I played once in Episode 15, but could not beat the ice guy on the mountain (had no effective attacks, except Arcanine and couldn't return to the Grand Hall to train a Ground/Rock type to get rid of the field). So I decided to start a new game with Episode 16 with a stronger focus on capable (and, if possible cute) Pokemon. So I went to fish a Lightningrod Goldeen, since some people recommended it (according to the new Location guide Azurill can only be obtained by an egg). But on the way I fished a shiny Finneon and now I'm in a small dilemma. In comparison, Finneon/Lumineon seems stronger in terms of stats and the moves it can learn, than Goldeen/Seaking. Seaking is more of a physical water type and has Lightningrod, but learns its first physical water move (Waterfall) at level 32. Lumineon on the other hand is more of a special attacker, which most of its attacks are. And it's Attract saved my ass more than once in my last game. Also it is shiny. What would you guys recommend? Or do you even know about other viable water types this early in the game (I'd like to have one until Kiki and replace it with Mudkip or Lapras). Like I said, I have no idea about more advanced stuff like IV/EV training and such. PS: Here are the stats of both Pokemon (also with red and blue stats, since I don't know what they mean): Finneon (level 10): - HP: 31 - Att: 15 (blue) - Def: 17 - SpA: 17 - SpD: 19 - Spe: 19 (red) - Swift Swim Goldeen (level 8): - HP: 26 - Att: 17 (red) - Def: 16 - SpA: 9 (blue) - SpD: 14 - Spe: 15 - Lightningrod
