  1. no rush or pressure or anything, but do you plan on releasing the USUM sprites when they're done, like you did with the SuMo sprites? I'm anxious to see the new shinies, but that can obviously wait
  2. passing grades in all seriousness though, all you need is some duct tape, WD-40, and maybe a screwdriver and passing grades
  3. ^ Can confirm (although they were .png files, not .jpeg files). @Fantastic Mr. Fox is an amazing spriter: I honestly didn't even notice the sprites got redone, since I just copied over my old Battlers folder (I have some custom sprites in there that I wanted to keep, but didn't feel like going through the whole folder to pick them out). Nice work, Jasper, I'm glad this change got pointed out to me. Actually, I'm REALLY glad this got pointed out, because until now I had absolutely no idea know that Ame took my advice for fixing regular Silvally-???'s sprites. Senpai noticed me! Even if Senpai did alter my design a little... Yeah, but EVERY Silvally form has a custom sprite for its shiny. It's a Silvally thing, not a ???-type thing. Yes, the Synthetic Seed in Glitch Field does make the user ???-type, in addition to raising its Defense and Sp. Defense. I would assume that this even applies to Multitype, since Arceus can't hold both a Seed and a Plate at the same time. However, using Silvally in a Glitch Field forces it to be ???-type, overriding any Memory it's holding, and regardless of whether it has a Synthetic Seed. The logic behind this was that Silvally is a synthetic Pokemon whose type depends on technology, so the Glitch Field causes Silvally itself to glitch out. The same idea also happens with Silvally in a Holy Field: Silvally is automatically made to be Dark-type, because Silvally was made with science, and science contradicts religion ("science is evil"). However, in a New World Field, both Silvally AND Arceus will change to a random type (except ???-type) each turn, regardless of held item.
  4. You don't overwrite it. In case anything goes wrong, you want to be able to go back to the unmodified version. Step 1: Find the original script. It's called Scripts.rxdata, and it should be saved under Pokemon Reborn\Data\ Step 2: Rename the original script. Literally any other name, such as "Scripts1.rxdata," "Scripts original.rxdata," or even "I LOVE AME.rxdata," will be fine, since the game only checks files with the exact names programed in it. Just make sure the name is something you'll recognize later. Step 3: Save the new script as Scripts.rxdata in the same exact folder. Now the game will read that file instead of the original. If you're switching to the Select Weather mod in particular, there's also a Mods\ folder included in the download. Do NOT change the name of this folder. This is where the actual changes are stored. You'll also need to save that folder (as in the folder itself, not just its contents) in the Data\ folder. Each mod is a separate file within the Mods\ folder, so you can just delete whichever ones you don't want to use (there's a file Readme.pdf included that explains what each mod file does). NOTE: just like you kept the original script as a backup, it's also generally a good idea to make backup copies of all of the mods (especially if you plan on removing some of them). You can save the backups literally anywhere EXCEPT the Data\ folder, but I would recommend leaving them somewhere nearby that you'll know where they are. After that, you'll all set! Just boot up the game, and the mods will be ready waiting for you.
  5. Taka's a bitch but I'm sure a Spinda would do it perfectly if we gave it a chance
  6. (Ignore this first part, it was before I did some extra research. I just don't want to erase the evidence completely.) It looks like it should be possible to implement. The coding currently includes a measure to make sure Pokemon never show up as shiny in the Pokedex (presumably to make guarantee you can still see the non-shiny form). My guess would be that this could be implemented by getting rid of that one line and then adding a few more lines of code, but as I said above (in the part I said to ignore), I'm not very familiar with the language. Do you really want to have to scroll through up to 56 different forms of Unown though? I'm pretty sure Ame has said several times that she has no intention of adding that feature to the game. So sorry, but it looks like you'll just have to stick with the mod.
  7. To expand on what @Zane0144 and @keltena said, I've seen a lot of talk that all of the branched story lines will ultimately give you more or less the same results in the end. How you get there might vary, but really I don't envision a final E19 release where one branch has you take down Lin and save the day, while the other has Team Meteor bombing the Pokemon League so you never even get to challenge the Elite Four (very extreme examples, but you get the point). So for all of the story lines to converge, the paths that had less story thus far will likely have some more story to them than the others in the last two episodes so that they end up in roughly the same place.
  8. the Charmander line is now available by using a Super Rod in the lava crater at the top of Pyrous Mountain. for whatever reason, Ame decided to make you able to fish in lava. apparently Super Rods are heatproof
  9. I know, that was meant to be a joke. I haven't seen any complete walkthrough like that yet, but someone could easily just make a new thread for it without the devs needing to get involved at all
  10. while we're at it, maybe that feature from gen 3 games where pressing Select (or Shift for Reborn) in your PC makes the hand yellow instead of white and lets you swap Pokemon faster? as someone who keeps their PC ridiculously organized, this would save a hell of a lot of time EDIT: just to be clear, this is the same feature that also lets you move more than one mon at once, and that's the part that that would be really helpful to me. idk if that would be hard to implement, but at least the faster swapping would be nice
  11. don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Terra that made it into the game. but real talk though.....
  12. but keep in mind that fire also gets a x1.5 boost on the field 0 SpA Goodra Flamethrower vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Lilligant in Sun: 270-318 (96 - 113.1%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
  13. @Ainz Ooal Gown don't even change the field. give Haxorus a Sash, use Dragon Dance (boosted by field), and proceed to OHKO everything she has that doesn't also have a Sash with field-boosted +2 Dragon Claw (Outrage shouldn't even be necessary, unless Ame decides to give her a freaking Dialga, which still has a 37.5% chance to get OHKOed by jolly +2 Claw even if it runs 252 HP/252+ Def). plus, I think your Haxorus wants you to leave the field up as well @Sceptilespy I'm guessing she probably will have a Noivern. that thing outspeeds basically anything useful that isn't Weavile, and then gets x2 Draco Meteor, plus x1.5 Flamethrower for anyone using a non-Weavile ice-type. but then again, she has a lot of options, so it's hard to say. I don't think she'd use a Tyrantrum though — I think Hardy is very likely to have a Tyrantrum, and I don't think they would both use one (although it's certainly possible)
  14. Dragonite on this field is a nightmare....... until you realize it gets absolutely demolished by Mold Breaker Haxorus
  15. Game.rxdata done @Ainz Ooal Gown. happy breeding!
  16. @Ainz Ooal Gown sure, just send me the file. you're lucky I'm in a procrastinating mood
  17. not only is Phione available, but it's wild/repeatable as well. but to be fair, calling it a legendary is highly debatable, and it does have the same exact stats as non-mega Glalie interesting that Ame decided to go against the canon games and make it more than just a breedject though
  18. Game.rxdata done btw, is there a reason you only have four mons with you? are you doing some kind of specific run?
  19. online now. username is BushyTheBushSpirit. send a request when you're ready
  20. first of all, wow. this is amazing! second, if you're open to ideas, I have a few thoughts: as pretty as the "natural" dirt paths look (i.e. by the PokeCenter), I'm not really sure that they fit. if Adrienn's team was taking the time to restore Byxbysion, I feel like they would have paved all of the walkways to match how the other wards look. that said, definitely feel free to keep some of the nice grassy areas around the city, but I think they should be up on a curb above the paved walkways (like the grassy patch circled in the spoiler below), or separated from the pavement by a small row of bricks like in neo-Peridot Ward (see screenshot in spoiler) and in front of the Grand Hall post-renovation (not shown). that's just my opinion though, and you can leave it as is if you want I like that you left the caves in the south as they were, since those are natural landforms. however, I think the wasteland ground in the southwest corner should also be restored to regular green grass — unless, of course, you were thinking that the restoration team wouldn't have entered the caves at all. the latter would explain that area still being full of waste, and is a perfectly legitimate scenario. if that's the case, feel free to ignore this bullet point altogether. leaving the wasteland ground around Aya's gym was a nice touch though (will that grass have different wild encounters from the rest of the ward?) this is a much smaller thing, but it's still bothering me: maybe you could put a fountain in the water at the top of the waterfall? otherwise the water is just coming from nowhere opinions aside though, this really is incredible. keep it up!
