In any Pokemon game I usually use whatever mons I feel like. In main series games I plan a team before starting because the games are so easy that I just want to utilize fun Pokemon. However, in Reborn and Rejuv, I kind of had that mindset of picking out mons I want to use but that was more difficult due to the tedious sidequests/how late they were into the game so I used certain Pokemon like Meowstic before receiving my Ralts which later became a Gardevoir. Chimchar was my starter in this game because it was my first starter I ever picked so it has a place in my heart. I certainly don't regret picking it as it comes in clutch many times with either a powerful CC or Flare Blitz. And I mean come on, it's a monkey, who doesn't like monkeys. I do sometimes struggle when trying to find Flying and Water type Pokemon for some reason though. I planned on using Azumarill for... obvious reasons but I didn't get lucky with the mystery egg which was fine. I eventually settled on a Gastrodon which carried me in so many fights that I can't name currently. Eventually the Gastrodon had started to become a little less useful with the not very powerful moves so I looked at the available Pokemon to replace it and Swampert was up for grabs. Ever since adding that Swampert and EV training it with 252 HP/252 Atk, he's has been useful in almost every important battle whether it be tanking a couple of hits or getting a strong Earthquake off. I picked up a Murkrow in Lapis Ward for a decent Flying type I've never really used. Also grabbed a Magnemite at some point which has honestly been a huge help with that Steel typing and powerful STAB moves. Roserade... I love the Pokemon but it is only useful in a small amount of situations due to it not having a great moveset. I did not play in w/e version allowed you to breed Sluge Bomb onto Budew so there goes a strong STAB move. I also don't have anything like HP Fire or HP Rock on it as I didn't really care too much about that stuff until recently. A couple other Pokemon that are worth mentioning that I used in some battles are Walrein to change the weather/field vs Charlotte and Rhyperior with Trick Room Gardevoir for the battle gauntlet in EP18 along with the rock typing vs Ciel's flying team. What I'm really saying is that I like to sometimes pick Pokemon I've never used but also mix it in with a bunch of favorites.

Who is Taka again? I still need to refresh my memory after not having played Reborn since mid 2016 or something like that. I did finish EP 16 though.

Is it part of E16 or is it part of E15? Because I just checked the location guide for mons for EP15, and it says Mudkip is starter only?

So before I start E16, I want to know if I should keep my team the way it is or switch it up a little. Right now it's Infernape, Roserade, Honchkrow, Gastrodon, Magnezone, and Gardevoir. I kinda wanted to switch out Gastrodon but then I wouldn't have a tanky mon unless I get a tanky mon to swap with Gastrodon. My options at the moment are Prinplup and Walrein to swap Gastro out. The reason I'm considering swapping Gastro is because he gets a somewhat bad movepool. No stab Special ground move, in Reborn at least. I could also just keep the team the same and start E16, but please offer any water types I can get now or after I start E16. Thanks!

Yeah I did the egg event. I got Phantump from it unfortunately. I was hoping for Azurill for obvious reasons. Thanks for the recommendations though!

I've beaten Ciel so I can do whatever sidequests/breeding if i want to with the easy travel from Tauros on Route 1. Here's my team: http://imgur.com/a/QTyxa . I kind of feel like replacing Honchkrow and Gastrodon but they've been so useful throughout the journey. Gastrodon is kind of being my HM slave though. :/ Gastrodon doesn't really get many good moves. Earth Power is from a move tutor, but I don't think the Earth Power tutor is in the game yet? Correct me if I'm wrong on that though. Surf and Recover is really all I can think of. Honchkrow also doesn't get the greatest moves from level up but she has Moxie so that's really good. Gastrodon: Surf, Dive, Recover, Strength. If I keep using him I'll have to remove those 2 HM's except for Surf. Infernape: Close Combat, Rock Smash, Flare Blitz, Acrobatics. Can replace Rock Smash with Strenghth if I feel like it. Magnezone: Discharge, Electro Ball, Mirror Shot, Flash Cannon. I should've kept thunder wave... Roserade: Giga Drain, Growth, Petal Dance, Synthesis. Might breed for Sludge Bomb, Leaf Storm, Extrasensory? But I think that requires EP. 13, doesn't it? Gardevoir: Moonblast, Draining Kiss, Psychic, Calm Mind. Is Energy Ball or Focus Blast breedable? Honchkrow: Brave Bird, Foul Play, Sucker Punch, Night Shade. So, help appreciated with my team. Rhydon is currently the only one being swapped out. Although I did use Walrein for Charlotte. Training up Prinplup that was going to replace Gastro but I also need to breed for Ice Beam and Scald so... Hello everyone! I'm LunarAzumarill, but you can call me Zuzu or Azu. I've had Reborn for almost a year now but this is my first time posting to the website. My name has changed a little bit over the 2, 3 years. It was originally Azumarillftw because Azumarill was one of my favorite Pokemon... That's literally it... Oh well. Eventually it changed to LunarAzumarill and that's my name today. Azumarill is still one of my favorite Pokemon. Oh. My real name is Owen. Anyways... I first got introduced into Pokemon through the training cards. I never really understood it cause I was kind of young. However, when I moved back to the United States and my Dad and I were driving to Boston to watch the Red Sox at Fenway Park, I asked if we could go to Best Buy. I don't know why I asked but I asked. He said yes and we took a look at some games. But then I noticed a title; Pokemon! It was Pokemon Platinum and we bought it. Although I never played Kanto, the original Johto games, or the original Hoenn games, I still love Pokemon. I played Platinum, SS, some of HG but I lost it, Black, W2, X and Y, AS. Of course I played other games but Pokemon has always been my favorite game. I haven't played a ton of different franchises cause I play on a potato, but I wouldn't mind trying a few. Is this story time or something? Anyways, one more story! So X and Y was when I started to understand the competitive aspect of Pokemon. It was probably the best time to get into competitive cause 6th gen made breeding and EV training a ton easier. So it started off with me just battling this Japanese passerby and me losing horribly every game. He had a competitive team and probably 5 IVs on all of his mons. Then a month later or something I entered this tournament that this guy was hosting on twitch. I lost the first round because I just didn't have a competitive team. (To this day I don't get past the second round of any tournament....) So then I got into competitive and I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I'd say I was pretty good. Up until I took a 3, 4 month break cause ORAS got a little stale for me. So Reborn may get me back into competitive cause of the challenging aspect. For some reason this week I've been really wanting to play Reborn and do all these sidequests that I haven't done. But that glasses quest near Route 1 or whatever seems really challenging. That's pretty much it for me! Hope mine wasn't horrible and too long... Other games I mainly play right now is League of Legends and occasionally Minecraft. But once again I do play on a potato so in team fights I get like 2 fps... NotLikeThis man... NotLikeThis. Anyways. I'm gonna stop rambling on which I usually don't do. Nice to meet you all! :]
