Right, plop your squads here for signing up so the staff and leaders can keep track of your teams. I'd say something about cards but god knows I failed to deliver those last season so I might as not bother with them this season. Apologies in advance but when you're the only one working on them, all motivation gets shot down immediately. Regardless of that, all teams should be in spoiler tags as per last season. It's back and it's better than ever, quite literally so considering our winrates from S1! I'm your amazingly questionable host, DW and I'm here to tell y'all that the Mythos League is back! But without further ado, here's the laydown. We have 12 single typed leaders, 3 E3, and 1 Champion. In addition to that, leaders have 4 wild cards but they must have a move of their type (ex. Araquanid with ice beam if it's the ice leader's wildcard or p2 with ice beam). You also get 8 pokemon, just in case you need that extra member on your team if you can't fit defog! Or perhaps if you'd run a monotype, for instance, you could patch up its weaknesses. Rules haven't changed much but as a reminder and out of formality: >Challengers will be allowed to choose eight Pokémon to use in battle against the Leaders >Challengers will be allowed to fight only one Leader per day. >Challengers will be restricted to two Legendaries on their team. >Challengers will be allowed to restart the League once per month but will lose all of their badges. >Silvally and Arceus are locked to one type on a challenger’s team. Unless they are in their Normal Forme, they must be equipped with their proper Memory. >Z Moves are banned. >If an illegal Pokémon, item, or move is found on a challenger’s team, that fight will be considered a loss for the challenger. >Once moves are in the sign up thread, they're final unless you change them with a move token, which are given out in tours or in normal bracket progression. This week is all about stabs! In fact it's megagaitiate, or was it megagaytiate? I can't spell this so lemme drop this: https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/metagamiate.3604808/. Essentially all mons here get an -ate or an -ite ability, similar to pixilate or aerilate! This means normal moves become stabs and recieve a 20% power boost! For dual typed mons, there's a special condition however. If it's not shiny, it uses the primary typing but if it is, it uses the secondary typing. For example, non shiny ttar with have rock stabs, but shiny ttar will have dark stabs! Questions in shit as usual. MATCHUPS REEEEE Eclipse vs. Polaris in LC! Right lads, we got week 5 of nations coming in! Can you believe that this is halfway done for most of us? Because I can! This week is themed around colors. As an explanation about colors, all pokemon have them and it's quite easy to look them up! (https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pokémon_by_color) It's also a useless category in the pokedex! The restrictions for this week are that you need to have 3 colors minimum on a team. In addition, you can only have at most 2 mons of the same color! Isn't that better kids? As usual, questions in this. Now, our matchups! Eclipse VS. Zodiac in RU! Will the edgelords conquer their inner toxicity or will the toxicity consume them? Polaris VS. LightGayzers in UU! Will the waves drown the rays of light or will the light conquer the deep dark ocean? SUN VALKS VS. ZION in LC! Will the furnace be toppled by the earth or will the flames consume the land? And for banlists this week: Arena Trap/Magnet Pull banned in SV vs. Zion. In that same matchup, Drilbur is also banned. Strength Sap is now unbanned in this matchup. All Leaders get ya rosters in ASAP and all that good shit.

DMBY (Braviary) @ Leftovers Ability: Sheer Force EVs: 248 HP / 48 Atk / 128 Def / 84 Spe Lax Nature - Heat Wave - Brave Bird - Bulk Up - Roost Right so this set came to mind while thinking of ways to put a ground immunity on the team and I noticed that bulk up + brave bird did work. naturally I couldn't just do it with regular old superpower due to stuff like scizor, mega aggron, their other physically defensive steels. So I opted for SF heat wave here. It didn't do the job vs. specially defensive aggron in the end but it was fun. Have some calcs: 0 SpA Sheer Force Braviary Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Scizor: 272-324 (96.7 - 115.3%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO 0 SpA Sheer Force Braviary Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Forretress: 344-408 (97.1 - 115.2%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery 0 SpA Sheer Force Braviary Heat Wave vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Klefki: 90-108 (28.3 - 34%) -- 98.7% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery 0 SpA Sheer Force Braviary Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Cobalion: 148-176 (45.8 - 54.4%) -- 52.3% chance to 2HKO All standard calcs anyways. Right, I didn't battle this week, but in the event that I had to be subbed in, I built a team naturally so I ran some heat Regigigas @ Leftovers Ability: Slow Start EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Ice Punch - Earthquake - Fire Punch - Return Pyroar @ Wise Glasses Ability: Moxie EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Taunt - Entrainment - Heat Wave - Hyper Voice A bit of a fun gimmick I had used in gen 6, moxie over to regigigas and boom! A sweep. Stabs and coverage to hit their types and pyroar was a good special attacker that could taunt as well. The only minus is that it couldn't run unnerve, which would've been superior.

Welcome to the A-League! Also known as the after league of Mythos, it's purpose is simple, which is to provide a challenge for those who beat Aine. @Shinyrio got past first, but thankfully we got past suspects quickly for the most part! Now what do I mean by suspects? CAPs of course, which are from the Create a Pokemon part of SD. After beating the champ, one gets an option of one of these or an extra legend to switch a team member out for! CAP Banlist: Should be all self explanatory, if something comes up, we'll suspect it asap. Next up is what the leaders get, which is all the ou legends/megas that were banned, they get 2 legends max, and since Acera's the only one with an unbanned mega, she'll get that and her 2 legends. -When B4 or above is reached, the leaders obtain uber megas. -The E3 have free picks among their ou-legends (Limited to 2) -Finally the champ has some exclusive caps, but they count for one of her ou-legend slots. She also gets an uber legend of her choice, with the mega not factoring into this (this might be changed if it's too destructive). However, if she goes for a uber legend, she has one ou-legend instead of 2. Now, for the challengers, you get the aforementioned bonuses post champ, but once you reach B4 and up, you have the oppurtunity to get a ubers that isn't banned for one of your mons Ubers Banlist -Bar that, regardless of the party, you are allowed one CAP at most, and one NFE or LC CAP in addition Also there's new brackets. System's the same as regular with completion. Here's a taste down below Edit: Tapu Lele is a Universal Ban, meaning leaders or challengers can't use it

When you said the endgame was gonna be better than S2's : ^ ). Kinda shocking how you thought suspecting Zeraora for a b1 leader was a great idea. Also sure, I love unnecessary powercreeps and so have several of the playerbase so great job on that. Getting serious here, you trying to make it better made it worse and it's shocking on how this is being handled in Discord. I'd say it's worse than pbood2's server but that's unnecessary and plain rude. I haven't received a proper rebuttal to my argument even which is a bit rude imo. Regardless I've lost my trust in some of you lot seeing as the main purpose was either handling threats and how the stars were based on how a mon synergies with the type. Since the * rating it's based on type synergy I want to point out both of steel's new toys don't even need any other legends due to the massive reward they give. Keldeo not being starred is also shocking as well for similar reasons. Dunno why stakataka is starred either due to it's main reason for it's former ban being based solely on "It's god under tr" as far as I was told. I'm pretty sure Helen has a dislike for multis as well, she's barely used it and I doubt she'd change just because she got a wall. Zapdos should be * since it gives electric quite a few benefits although I'm fairly sure it'd give major rewards for the price as well, correct? Finally if there's one thing worth commending, it's the fact that you gave Lucifer his based Protean Gren back, good on that tbh. tl;dr I feel this was hastily done, since it seemed that these mons either took a day or two to suspect and debate for each of them but hey that's none of my business. Add on: Stakataka also dies to any based 4x stab (and nearly any non stab) after rocks and w/out sand storm does not wanna stay in on any special stabs whatsoever.
