  1. Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors on the DS. It's not a romance, but play it anyway, it's quite good. I'd also rec Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky if you haven't played it already. Story is quite good, especially for a Pokemon spinoff. I...haven't played many Pokemon fangames, so I can't give any recommendations on that front. Sorry.
  2. Of course I'm talking about the Japanese rap artist, what brand of The Fool Arcana do you take me for? Ba-dum-tish
  3. *checks Lotad's gen 6 learnset again* Oh my. I mean, I don't normally bother with Grass types, but this just made my choice between it and Snubbull/Granbull significantly harder. I'm gonna have to sleep on this one. Thanks for the answers and feedback, both of you.
  4. I was kinda thinking that too. One last question for if I decide to raise a Lotad. Does this game use the X and Y learnset rates or the ORAS learnset rates?
  5. I forgot to mention this, but I've actually been meaning to try out a Fairy type. That said, Snubbull or Igglybuff? That Snubbull has amazing coverage, but I've also never used the Igglybuff family before. I really like how this game pretty much forces me to use things I wouldn't even give a second glance at in the main games.
  6. Now that I've fulfilled my obligation to post an intro thread, I'm ready to talk shop. So let's get right down to business, starting with a picture for simplicity's sake. They've been serving me well since the first gym, but I'm starting to feel like it's high time I start benching some of them. Before I take any suggestions, do consider reading my own personal thoughts on each individual member. Yosuke: Starter. Picked him because I don't have a 3DS yet so I figured I might as well pick a gen 6 starter. Not going anywhere, 'nuff said. Kyrie: Most likely going to replace her with a Houndour. For one thing, I forgot to save scum her nature, and she's Adamant and currently stuck with special attacks. Yeah. Also, I challenged Maxwell right after beating Shelly so I wasn't prepared for the absurd level difference. Needed two revives and a potion to take out his Houndoom, so yeah, you better believe the Houndour I caught soon after is gonna be getting some use to make that worth it. Yulie: Psychic type, and unlike Yosuke she actually has a good Ghost type move in Shadow Ball. Not going anywhere any time soon. Rudiger: Honestly, he was pretty terrible in the beginning, so I had a hard time raising him at first. Then he got Crunch and Acid Spray, so he's now pretty invaluable until I can get a better Fairy killer. Shanoa: Crutch character. She was my MVP early on, particularly against Julia and the first PULSE Tangrowth, but now that she no longer knows Bide, I only have sentimental reasons to not replace her with a Blitzle. The only things helping her case at the moment are Pickup, and it being absolutely hilarious whenever I get an opportunity to knock something out using Nuzzle, of all things. Hesitant to replace, but am willing to if it proves necessary. Allegretto: Also a crutch character. Has Technician as its ability, but I didn't have the forethought to let it learn Bug Bite prior to evolving. Other than that, the only noteworthy thing about him is that he's now a glorified Cut and Rock Smash slave. I shouldn't have to explain why relying on it to deal with a Rock or Steel type is pretty daft, especially considering the rest of my team is much better at dealing with them. Most likely going to replace this as well, but no idea with what. Here's my box to help with making a decision on replacements: The eggs are Drowzee and, I'm pretty sure the other one is a Cacnea. I don't see any reason to use either. I have two Panchams because I don't know which ability I want. Neither of them have Scrappy, but that can be fixed. I should have at least one ability capsule lying around. >_>
  7. Don't expect me to be open and bubbly right away, I'm ridiculously shy whenever I join a new community. I'll most likely open up eventually though, I usually do. I'm also ridiculously non-confrontational. I also tend to not post frequently for sporadic lengths of time. Generally more of a watcher than a doer, if that makes any sense. For now though, if you like Lotus Juice half as much as I do, then we'd be BFFs for life I reckon. Not sure how I want to end this, I'm not used to doing intro threads, so uh...I think I'll just leave it at that.
