  1. OMG cant wait to play it. is there a way to evolve a kadabra now?
  2. Don't see no problems with that.
  3. spikes take a certain % of the pokemons HP as long as it doesn't have 1, any poke will survive when put in on 100% health
  4. I have just beat the leader, quite difficult but not too bad. Prinplup Level 24, Yes i picked this piece of shit. Empoleon is good on the simulators and i think it looks good, but i had not idea that it didn't learn any decent moves untill bubblebeam.... I lost the first battle against both of my rivals. LOL Zubat Level 15, OMG i do like to make things hard for myself. really want a crobat. Learnt bite which helps, (at level 14 maelstrom keep at it). but it still acted as fodder in my gym battle. i think it was just bad luck as to the first leaders type. needs to evolve. Thats it atm, i was thinking about trading for an abra, but i wasn't sure how i'd evolve Kadabra... I'm going to make the team on my trainer card + a crobat which it doesn't want to show for some reason
  5. It's quite funny that his entire team cant hit a shedinja, however the spikes he said he laid should've killed it straight away, unless the actually gave him HP EVs, but thats unlikely. but even then, you could've stalled him out with chansey and the rest, untill he had to struggle...
  6. Guys, i have an issue, i click on the game and i get a picture of Mismagius and an Arceus, and some music plays, and half an hour later, nothing has happened.... advise?
  7. Can you guys please start answering my questions?
  8. So... I've downloaded it, but how do i actually get onto playing it?
  9. Thank you all for your comments, i see what you mean about not having enough attackers, but i guess you dont notice when Mandibuzz works so well. Saying that; I have decided to swap Mandibuzz, because Miltank can set up rocks, and crobat is my favourite. does anybody have any suggestions as to what to replace Mandibuzz with? i would like to have something of similar typing however... Also, what should i use on Serperior instead of wring out (please dont say leech seed) Many Thanks.
  10. Hey guys, although this team does do pretty well in normal games, it just feels like there is something missing, and i cant quite put my finger on it. does anybody have any suggestions? Also, i am planning to finally take on the league as it's started up again, So i was wondering if anyone had any hints or tips, especially on my crobat, as i am not really sure on the best way to use him, and i just copied this of of serebii, Many Thanks, Damas Pink Eye (M) @ Black Sludge Trait: Inner Focus EVs: 216 HP / 40 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Roost - Hypnosis - Taunt - Aerial Ace This Is my starter, can either taunt or enduce sleep to anything thats gonna set up hazards or boost. Roost for healing, Aerial Ace just as a STAB move. cant choose BB because it wont go with hypnosis, which allows a free switch to chandelure. He's also quite bulky, and can be used as fodder or an Anti-Toxic later in the game. MILK ME MOFO (Miltank) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Scrappy EVs: 252 HP / 128 SDef / 128 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Body Slam - Heal Bell - Stealth Rock - Milk Drink My Support, sets up rocks after crobat has dealt with their opener. Milk drink and Heal bell support the team, and keep him alive, Body slam with scrappy for STAB attack and Para Hax. 128 Speed EVs makes him surprisingly fast. Regality (Serperior) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Contrary EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd - Atk) - Leaf Storm - Hidden Power [Fire] - Wring Out - Glare Special Sweeper, leaf Storm powers him up, HP fire for bug/steel or steel/grass. Glare to paralyse, and i wasn't sure what to put in, instead of Leech Seed, as i dont like LS on a sweeper. so i added wring out, which can work well on things like blissey. but i dont like it. any suggestions? Mighty Joe (Infernape) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Iron Fist EVs: 255 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Mach Punch - ThunderPunch - Fire Punch - Earthquake Physical attacker. Mach punch for STAB priority, making it pretty damaging on most things. Fire Punch for a STAB with a little more kick (or punch in this case) EQ for coverage and thunderpunch is for when people switch in a water (with good prediction obviously), or a jellicent, as i cant really do much to it, without Thunderpunch. Lawrence (Mandibuzz) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Overcoat EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Toxic - Roost - Fly - Whirlwind Damn, this bird is bulky. Standard set, Toxic, Roost and Fly to Stall, and whirlwind works well with rocks, but also means i can get rid of things that are trying to set up on me, like cloyster. Bill (Chandelure) (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shadow Tag EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Shadow Ball - Heat Wave - Energy Ball - Hidden Power [ice] Standard scarf Chandelure. Doesn't need explaining, except for that i like to switch him in, if crobat puts a poke to sleep. as there is then nothing that they can do.
  11. I like the team in general. however, i think Serperior would be better suited to HP Fire, as there are a lot of pokemon that have a 4x resistance to Leaf storm, and to Ice moves, Scizor, or forretress for example. but other than that, i think it's good.
  12. To be honest, i'm not sure why this is failing you, other than the coverage is a bit dodgey. 2 of your pokemon have a 4x weakness to SR, and although you do have a rapid spinner, you dont have anything that knows taunt to stop them setting up in the first place.. Part of me would like to have an aerodactyl instead of Swampert, but thats my preference. Also, if your not even sure why you've added Togekiss, it's probably better to remove it. Gliscor's pretty good, and is hit neutral by rocks, and covers the electric weakness, that 2 of your pokemon have. I'm no expert, but i hope it helps a bit.
  13. Thanks you for all of your input. I am making some decent changes, and am already seeing improvements. However, i am struggling to find any Water types that can help my grass/fire/water core, that doesn't rely on rain. does anybody have any suggestions? (Movesets and EVs would be helpful) many thanks again
  14. Just to say, that although i will be using this team for the league, i want it to be good against anyone, so will be taking current trends into account. Joker (Gengar) (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Levitate EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunder - Taunt - Icy Wind - Destiny Bond This is always my starter. i dont think that there is a single pokemon that he doesn't pose a problem to. taunt stops setting up, and thunder destroys bulky water types, with the 30% chance paralysis. Always hits with the common rain teams. Icy wind lowers speed, which then allows me to DB anything that is faster than me, as after 1 drop, there isn't anything that is faster. Icy wind also works as support move in double battles. SmoothMoves (Honchkrow) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Super Luck EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Sucker Punch - Brave Bird - Superpower - Pursuit This is designed to switch in, and deal large amounts of damage to anything that could be a potential problem, i.e. stat boosters. Sucker Punch will destroy most dragon dancers, after they've boosted, will normally be weakened. BB for STAB. SuperPower covers ice and rock types, and pursuit for things that like to U-turn or baton pass etc... Miles (Serperior) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Contrary EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Hidden Power [Fire] - Leech Seed - Substitute Pretty self explanatory. Leaf storm to power up, and STAB will hurt most things. HP fire just to cover pokes that leaf storm wont hurt. Leech seed, is for when somone puts in a pokemon with masses of HP, i.e chansey or Wobbuffet, to stall them into switching. sub is to stop them doing damage, or set up sub on the swicth out. Fantastic (Ninetales) (F) @ Air Balloon Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Fire Blast - Hidden Power [Rock] - Attract - Confuse Ray Fantastic Mr. Fox here can be switched into a fire move and take the boost, then attack with HP rock, which hits fire and flying types pretty hard. good for quite a few dragons aswell. Or he can just be a nuisance with attract and confuse ray, and then gradually wear them down. Ron (Vaporeon) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Water Absorb EVs: 255 HP / 120 Def / 132 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Toxic - Scald - Wish - Protect Another simple set. Water Absorb to cover for ninetale's only weakness as he has a balloon. He just stalls anything. Scald not only gives a stab, but allows me to burn a steel or poison, which isn't affected by toxic. Chandey (Chandelure) (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shadow Tag EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd Hardy Nature - Shadow Ball - Energy Ball - Flamethrower - Hidden Power [ice] i dont think i really need to explain this, as everybody has seen how shadow tag chandelure works. My main concerns are weather teams, because everybody seems to have them. Also, if anybody sees any major pitfalls it would be appreciated if you could advise a way around them.
  15. I appreciate the comments, and will rethink some of my team members to make it more double battle friendly. however, swords dance is just to sweep in single battles. Excadrills attack is more than respectable anyway, so i wouldn't have to SD in a doubles match. also, i think i am smart enough to not use EQ when something on my team will take major hits from it. My hippowdon rarely uses EQ anyway, it's mainly a nuisance. might i just point out that constructive comments involve, suggestions to improve, and not just saying that something will, or wont do well.
